Great staff and repairs done well.

What a GREAT place, my wife brought her car in for an oil change, which she was dreading because she had our 2yr daughter with her. They were terrific, particularly Mike & George. I was happy to see they have a CLEAN waiting room with private bathrooms (separate from the employess) but what won my wife over, they have toys for my daughter to play with. The coffee wasn't great but it was hot. As for the mechanical work she brought her car in for an oil change and not only did they do that but they also looked over our entire car, which just reassured us it was a safe for our family to drive in. Mike even let my wife know the time table she could expect to do some work in the future and what we could pair together to save money. Truly honest workers, GREAT PLACE with GREAT STAFF customer for life. Thanx guys!

Been a loyal customer for well over 15 years and have recommended many other people here including my u.p.a\s. co workers. I am sorry to say it's not the place I remember and i did not even receive a call from Michael (the manager) to discuss my unpleasantness dealing even though i requested he call me. I guess it's time after all these years to go looking elsewhere.

I had my oil changed & had a coupon for this.$15.95 & when finished 2.5 hours later, there was anadded charge for the filter in which the coupon states it"sincluded.Otherwise, the employees & work was fine.John

Made appointment at 9.15AM, I arrived 20 minutes early, by 10.50, over one and half hour after my original appointment time, my car still not even being worked on yet. Very bad customer service, what a waste of couple hours time

Have been taking vehicles to them for years and never had any issues until recently. A few weeks back took the car a for a leaking radiator, a hose, something that left antifreeze in the street. Picked it up after it was fixed and a few days later it did the same thing. Took it back, it seems like they don't listen to what the problem is, for it to be fixed again. The following day they called to ask for the original key to the car, the one with a chip in it. I never had a key with a chip in it for the car. It's fixed again, I go to pick up the car, it will not start, or if it starts it will not stay on. I cannot drive it out of the lot. I took it in for the leaking issue and now they tell my ignition needs to be fixed, I was told about 186 bucks worth of fixing. I was told the labor would be free since I was kind of aggravated. I get there to pick up the car and they charged 300 bucks, 89 bucks of it for labor. No one offered any reasons as to why the labor charge was added when I was told it would be. I get the car home and the next day, again I have leaking antifreeze in the street. so several hundreds of dollars, and I still have a leaking car. So much for quality work and customer service.

Been going there for years and have to wait 3-4 hours to find out the car has been sitting without being look at. Very short staff especially during the holiday. Was told long wait but should have at least have the courtesy to call my cell to say cannot get to you today but make an appointment instead. Would have return but I came back on my own with out them calling me. Had I not come back I would have waited mores wasted hours Horrible Service and should get extra help during the holidays.

Everything was excellent

I have absolutely no complaints with the services that have been provided to me thus far. I've been here multiple times to have work done on my 2013 Subaru Legacy and these guys have done outstanding work. I've had exhaust work done, oil changes, tire rotations, tire mounting, and inspections. They have exceeded my expectations every time. The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. I would also like to add that I am quite impressed by the layout of the shop. You can tell that it was designed with the intent of pleasing the customers. With hot coffee, sofas, and a flat screen TV with premium channels upstairs how could you complain. I highly recommend them and will continue to travel from Feasterville just to bring my vehicle to them.

In the past they never failed to fix things right the first time or VERY rarely say they couldn't. More recently my husband and I took our cars in with a variety of problems (engine warning light, tire, brakes, etc.) and every time "fixing" it took more than one trip - would seem ok at first, them the problem would recur and they'd say it was something different. Last year when the same engine warning light came on for the fourth time I traded my car in as is and started fresh with a new car and a new repair place.

I myself do the majority of work on my own vehicles, but exhaust can require some welding which is easier done in a shop set up for such. I needed 2 soft flexes replaced and welded in my car. Dropped it off for that and inspection. Got a call about two hours later saying i needed new windshield wipers and to have my dirty coolant flushed to pass inspection. The radiator is only about 2 months old now, and so is the coolant in it which you can't even see because its a closed loop system. Wipers are new Bosch from august. Basically, an upsell of bullshit. Forget the inspection, weld up the joint and call me when its done. two soft joint which are about $40 each anywhere,cost me $200 and the weld cost me another $250, seriously?  I can't recommend them....at all.

I have been going to Schafer's for years. Their workmanship is outstanding!I trust them 100% with my car and when there is a problem, it is always explained to me in a clear, friendly and professional manner.

Car is running fine as wine!

I've been coming here for years. I don't think there is a better group of mechanics in the city. They are honest and decent people with reasonable prices. They have recently streamlined some of the business and making appointments and keeping track of oil changes is much easier. They called me to schedule the oil change! Granted the lady I spoke with failed to actually enter the appointment in the computer, I was still seen at my appt. time, and was out within the hour. Mike has always been a decent guy at the front. He has seen me through my crappy Lancer and now my more reliable Honda Fit. He always remembers me and always gives me the honest truth about what my car needs and what it can do without and for how long it can do without. They have in the past had some long wait times, and judging by other reviews they still have some issues with that. The past 2 times I went, I was in and out! Other times I just brought my computer and worked (free wifi there) in their cozy upstairs area that looks onto the garage and mechanics. But bottom line, I can handle a long wait time if needed b/c I know I am getting good work done by (I'll say it again) honest people. They won't rip me off, and they will do the job right. I think lots of other people know this too, and that is why they can have such long waits. I'm grateful for them.

I just started using Schafers this year after years of being disappointed with other mechanics. Prices are reasonable and they always communicate what is going on. I tend to just drop my car off and come back when it is done. Unless something big is wrong I usually get my car back fast. Today. The day before thanksgiving they got me all fixed up and road ready. I was running a little late but they stuck around for a little bit to make sure I got my car. Good group there.
