My car had 2 flats in a matter of one month not only did they provide a warm, friendly and professional atmosphere, but they provided entertainment for my kids! During their 5 point inspection, They also found issues with my brand new car that were never addressed by the dealership at the time I purchased the car or had it serviced. They are very thorough and helpful. I won't take my car anywhere else now. Thank you, schafer's for always making me feel like family.

Schafer's is great! I have been going to them for almost 18 years ( minus a few while my Subaru was under warranty). I will always use them. They have always been fair and honest and the customer service has always been outstanding. They will order an Uber for you if waiting is not an option and the manager Michael will always make sure you are satisfied! Best place in Philly to have your car serviced.

I have been to Schafer's twice now, and will recommend this shop to all friends/family. I first came in on another mechanic's recommendation for work on catalytic converter which was stolen twice. They used a new approach which involved a Kevlar mesh to keep it secured. The owner personally texted me to make sure everything went well and offered a free oil change on my next visit. I came back a month later for the free oil change and to get new front brakes. They inspected my entire car and gave me options on what else could be done but put no pressure like most mechanics in my past. The whole process of Schafer's from getting an appointment within a few days to great service is worth checking this place out.

Really great, friendly service. We found these guys on Yelp and saw their positive reviews so tried them out. My car needed four new tires, an oil change and an inspection. They were honest and up front all the way, even offering a free uber ride home and back again when they were done working! They send photos of any problems they encounter during the inspection and dont put any pressure on you to spend more money. They've checked in several times since we left, offering a free next oil change. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Schafer's!

I am a loyal Schafer's customer and highly recommend them to anyone. I had previously thought that I'd always get the best service from the car dealer. Wrong! Service dept at my Toyota dealer told me I needed a new transmission (which was only 3 years old and had been replaced while under warranty). Took to Schafer's for a second opinion and they said no need for that. They did a $200 repair and 18 months later the transmission is still going strong. I really have come to trust them and would recommend them without reservation. They care.

Do not go here!!!!!! My co-workers and I use to go here out of convenience but this place is awful!! They are way over priced first of all! I took my car here for an alignment and when I left the car was pulling so hard to the left I could barely drive straight. I took it back and didn't get any real apology and they said their machine wasn't working properly. I got an oil change in my suv and they told me they topped all my fluids off. Well, on my way home my car starts over heating and I look and there is not one drop of coolant in my car! I have story after story of bad service this place has done to my co-workers and I. Don't waste your money!!

Y'all. These folks are so nice. I got sent over from Pep Boys because I needed to check out a slowly leaking tire. They do a brief but full inspection when they checked this. Takes like 25-30 min. For free. I found out that I had a few other things to replace but they didn't try to upsell me on anything (all the other services I specifically requested). The rates are hella reasonable ($30 oil change? $25 tire plug? Totes.) The waiting room is cozy lots of seating downstairs and up. They've got tv and AC. The upstairs has many outlets for your charging needs, and you can watch them do the work. They also have a kid space too. And nice bathrooms (single occupancy). Also they email you the entire check of their inspection!! Amazing. (Plus they answered all my panicked questions about what is wrong with my car and why are they doing this big inspection and how long will this take). 5 stars and I'll be seeing these folks for my future car stuff.

I can't say enough good things about this place! The customer service was top notch and exceeded all my expectations. They offered to pay for my Uber to and from work which was extremely convenient. My car needed a lot of work as it was an older vehicle. Once my car was ready, I received a text message with a digital Inspection with details on what exactly needed to be done, along with pictures. Their prices are very affordable! When I went to pick up my car, Cindy was nice enough to print out a list of everything that was done as well as a list of additional items that needed work (that I couldn't afford at the time). She went above and beyond and printed out totals of all the work needed and let me know that everything would be stored in their system for future reference. Michael was great and helped me answer various questions I had regarding the vehicle. I highly highly recommend this shop!

Have a pick up truck which picked up a large screw in the tire. Walked in 8 AM in the morning they were able to have it plugged and got me on my way very quickly. Couple of days later I discovered there was a slow leak and it turns out that the screw was so wide, left a hole too big for a plug to seal. Went back to the shop a couple weeks later, they put the truck on the lift and tended to it right away. They were able to verify that the plug was not working so they completely took the tire off the rim and patched it from the inside. They explained in detail what happened and why the plug wasn't working and did not want any additional money for fixing it with a patch. Not only were they professional and apologetic, they offered a free car wash. I believe in supporting small businesses and this one is by far one of the more reputable car repair shops you could find in Philadelphia. A+++ if I need anything on any of my vehicles in the future, I'm taking them to Schafers.

So happy I found this place. These guys are awesome. They take great care of my car, explain everything, don't sell you what you don't need and most importantly I trust them. Michael is great and periodically checks in to make sure everything is still going well with my car!
