I took my 2011 Honda CR-V to EGM at the recommendation of my sister and niece, who said the team there was straightforward with them and gave good advice that suggested they wouldn't just do a big repair for the money. I had a check-engine light. They conducted the full analysis of codes and found a leak, actually a broken bolt in the manifold connecting the catalytic converter to another pipe (forgive me if I don't translate that exactly perfectly). So an exhaust issue. With the repair, my Honda actually sounds the quietest it's been in years (I wonder why it hadn't been caught earlier at other places). EGM also pointed out a deteriorating pipe connected to the thermostat, told me it'd be something to fix down the road -- and they called Honda to learn the pipe is on a fairly big back order. They gave me decent advice on what to watch for and the looming question of whether to sell the old vehicle or keep it.So I found EGM a smaller garage that's not so corporate and therefore can give you good advice and not just kinda automated recommendations, but is big enough to allow you to set up appointments online, to send text messages ahead of the appointment and following up, and to email about the appointment. They'll clearly work with you on the options, costly or not. The repair did take a few business days -- I had to call on the second day that had been promised to get a status -- but I was not in a hurry and this was during a deep freeze that had taken hold of the area. So far so good with EGM.
My first time visit was a pleasant experience. The staff was very courteous and kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend EGM for service on your vehicles I'd like the communication via text, email, making an appointment was easy and they were right on time.
EGM was able to get me scheduled very quickly. I dropped my truck off first thing in the morning and picked it up in later the same day. Everyone I spoke to and worked with were all very courteous and professional. I would recommend EGM for service!

I have been going to this service station for about 9 years now. My cars warranty just ended, and I needed an honest, reputable station for all my automotive needs.. I called triple AAA they told me about formerly Elk Grove Marathon. This is a TRIPLE AAA approved station. They EXCEED ALL EXPECTATIONS.RUSS! The LONG TIME (Plant😊) shop MANAGER and his right arm RANDY, a once, former, shop, business owner himself.These technicians are highly trained, skilled, with continued education, professionals like Rob and all the other techs.Leadership begins at the top! Called Randy in a panic when my battery died without warning. EGM stocks Interstate batteries with a 60 month warranty. Great price and was back on the road in a few hours. Highly recommend!! +++++

Made appointment for Altima - scraping sound from front wheels. Dropped off vehicle in the AM, was ready early afternoon. Brake rotors needed adjustment.Very happy with the service. Great staff.
Great customer service!!Needed my tire repaired right away (found 2 diff nails in it). Manny (owner) responded to my after hours text immediately. Russ (manager) called me next morning before 730 am to tell me to come right over, he could get it taken care. Will definately be going back for future car services.

EGM performed a oil change and radiator flush. As always the work was done on time and at a fair price. I would suggest anyone looking for a mechanic to stop by EGM and speak with them.

Saw many good reviews for EGM and tis was a first time visit for me. The repair to the fuel system was very extensive, with Manny and Randy explaining the requirements needed, and keeping me informed of the progress. Everyone, including their auto techs, who are very knowledgeable, took a personal keen interest and desire to "make it happen". I definitely will continue to patronize EGM.
We had a good experience taking our car to EGM. They fixed our wheel bearing quickly and inexpensively, and they gave us reasonable recommendations for future service. We didn't feel pressure to complete all service immediately, and they helped us come up with a realistic timeline to get the work done. We appreciated the great service provided.
