I got my car towed to this location the other day after another mechanic did some faulty work on my car. The service manager there was incredibly professional and looked at my car and gave me a fair estimate and very helpful advice on how to deal with the whole ordeal. He then went above and beyond to take my car out of the shop after hours so that i could take the car back to where it was busted. Furthermore he charged me minimally for the estimate of the car. He was extremely compassionate about my situation and that is so rare to find these days. I highly recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for someone honest to work on their vehicle.
I always feel comfortable taking my car there. Service is great and takes as little time as possible. Russ is friendly, and honest, always explaining what, if anything, needs to be done and how. The station has really gone hi tech with online appointments, vehicle history being stored and now an electronic check list that becomes part of every visit and your permanent record. Awesome!
Had to bring my car in for a split by pass hose. Russ was great when I drove my car there with smoke coming out from under the hood. They were able to order the part and fix it early the next day. (The mechanics are awesome). Great Customer Service! Great prices! And when it's fixed....it's fixed. Can't tell you how much I appreciate the level of service I receive there. I tell everyone I know to go there!! Thank you!

So we got a 2nd opinion at Marathon and paid only a fraction of what the other shop told us...
We will always take our car to Russ in the future. I always get my gasoline there too...

I called triple AAA they told me about Elk Grove Marathon. This is a TRIPLE AAA approved station. They EXCEED ALL EXPECTATIONS. Excellent mechanics here, was even cheaper than quoted.
Stop by to put gas ..you should notice that the time they say there close they mean there shop not the gas station its self that.closes till.10 p.m

I'm just reviewing the gas station as I have not been a customer of the repair shop. The gas station has good gas prices, but almost no selection of snacks and drinks. The thing that is the most frustrating is that they close VERY early, even on weekends. I've never seen a gas station close that early. 🤔🤷♀️ The staff is friendly though and we will stop by if we really need gas and it's the closest station to us.

This has been such a cold week! I went to get gas and my gas door was frozen shut! I was trying to get it open when Russ must have spotted me struggling. He came out and without hesitation helped me open my gas tank(shorts and all). I felt so bad but he had such a great attitude and then offered to fill my tank. Such an amazing Service Manager for the auto repair department. . Before he went inside he said my tires looked a little low so he checked them and they were bad! He topped them all off!!!! If your looking for great service and a helpful gas station/repair shop I would definitely recommend Elk Grove Marathon!!!!! Thank you Russ for taking time to assist me with my car!!!!
I have been going to Elk Grove Marathon for the past 5 + years. Everyone has always been professional. I have a 2001 van with lots of miles. The van meant so much to my family and myself that I kept putting the money into repairs. Russ was always honest with me and understood my budget. I live 30 minutes away and would take it to Elk Grove Marathon way before I would trust an repair shop near my home. Prices are very reasonable.
