The team at E.G.M. took great care of me and my vehicle, my car had broken down, I had it towed in and they fixed it in a few days and even fixed some other problems I was having at a good price.Thanks again guys.
I’ve been going to EGM for about 5 years now and this time I needed rear brakes and the staff at the store are always informative and honest. I appreciate them taking time to explain what needs to be done, what has been done and the why. I appreciate the work and how professional and friendly everyone is.
I have been going to this service station for about 9 years now. My cars warranty just ended, and I needed an honest, reputable station for all my automotive needs.. I called triple AAA they told me about formerly Elk Grove Marathon. This is a TRIPLE AAA approved station. They EXCEED ALL EXPECTATIONS.RUSS! The LONG TIME (Plant😊) shop MANAGER and his right arm RANDY, a once, former, shop, business owner himself.These technicians are highly trained, skilled, with continued education, professionals like Rob and all the other techs.Leadership begins at the top! Obviously the owner Manny, of this long time establishment knows how to take care, treat his employees.They are loyal to him.I have referred many people here.And will go on doing so Thank you!!! Called Randy in a panic when my battery died without warning. EGM stocks Interstate batteries with a 60 month warranty. Great price and was back on the road in a few hours. Highly recommend!! +++++

Stopped on a whim since the shop is in area I work. Spoke with Russ to get a worse case pricing on my 2011 Explorer. I made an appointment to get a hands on estimate. I was very surprised that the actual repair was about 1/2 of the verbal quote. My repair is resolved.I'm also very happy that I stopped in and I will be using them for both my future needs and will be referring EGM to others.Thank you Russ
Made appointment for Altima - scraping sound from front wheels. Dropped off vehicle in the AM, was ready early afternoon. Brake rotors needed adjustment.Very happy with the service. Great staff.
Great customer service!!Needed my tire repaired right away (found 2 diff nails in it). Manny (owner) responded to my after hours text immediately. Russ (manager) called me next morning before 730 am to tell me to come right over, he could get it taken care. Will definately be going back for future car services.
Manny and his friendly team took great care of my daughter’s car (and us) when she was home briefly from college and needed significant work done in a short timeframe! The team informed us of recommendations, pricing, and kept us informed every step of the way. Great communication and pricing at pickup was as expected—no surprises! Excellent customer service! As a first time customer I was very impressed. I was having an issue with tire pressure and made an appointment as I live a few miles away from EGM. They were very helpful in explaining what might be the issue and how they would approach things. It was determined that a tire replacement was best and then we told me about different kind of tires and made a recommendation for a brand which was not the most expensive but the best for my card. I’ll be back!
Correctly diagnosed a check engine code and made repair. Likewise with brakes. Did a fantastic job on a older classic vehicle. Randy and Russ kept me informed in a timely fashion and explaining the situation. I will continue to keep them as my go to repair shop. Subsequent work was also required, which was performed expertly in a very timely fashion. Great shop and excellent service and mechanics.

Good communication and follow up with me for when my car would be ready. They are a busy shop which normally means they do good work. In my case this was true.
I brought my Jeep in to diagnose what was going on after a failed emissions test. I talked with several people and all of them were courteous, thorough, and very nice. I asked a lot of questions since I know next to nothing about cars, and they answered all of them very thoroughly, which I really appreciate. They got my repair done super quick, including ordering genuine Jeep parts (instead of aftermarket which aren't always the best quality).As the customer service cherry on top, they even took my Jeep to get it tested for emissions (it passed, yay!), which is so appreciated because it's one less thing I have to do/worry about now. I totally wasn't expecting that and really appreciate them seeing the repairs all the way through.Finding a mechanic/shop that is trustworthy and does great work is hard, especially when you haven't lived somewhere very long. I'll definitely be bringing my jeep back to EGM next time I need a repair - hopefully I won't need to for a long, long while though!

We have been bringing out car to EGM for service since 2019. We are very satisfied with the customer service we receive from the minute we walk in. They explain the quotes given, work is completed in a timely manner, and they always accommodate you with a ride. We will continue to trust EGM for our auto repair needs!

Even though I moved 20 miles away, I still come back. I trust them. They've always taken excellent care of my cars, been super accommodating, and keep complete records. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
On behalf of my elderly father I would like to say thank you to Randy and the team. They were wonderful from start to finish. If you are looking for a great automotive repair place I’d recommend them.
Just got some new rotors installed and break pads. I had gone to 2 other shops and nobody could figure out the issue and one shop even made up an issue to try and make some money off me. I did bring it to one mechanic before this who said it might be my rotors but I had basically but the words in the dudes mouth. They quickly took my car and diagnosed the issue plus any other issues with the car and didn’t even charge a fee. I didn’t have a ride back and was trying to order a Lyft but they actually drove me home! They called me back a few hours later and came and picked me up which I thought was such a bonus and gave me the run down. I was able to chose which repairs I wanted done first and was educated on which one was the most serious and needed to be fixed first. I brought my car in for repairs two days later and my car was fixed a few hours later. They had also picked me up when they were done with repairs. The car is driving better then it has in the longest time. I am so happy to have found a reliable mechanic considering all my bad experiences. They really do deserve the ratings they have these guys know what they are doing and treat you like your business actually matters to them which is hard to come by now a days in the car industry. This will be my go to shop no matter how far I move only exception being if I move out of state.

This shop is highly recommended and I can see why. They are personable, friendly and very busy and they do great work! They did about $ 2500. in major repairs and worked with my warranty company to get approval for repairs and file the claims for reimbursement. i will definitely go back to them for all my automotive needs very simply because they are good, and I trust them! Trust is huge in this industry and if you find a shop that does good work and you feel you can trust them, you have to support them! I have known Russ prior to Elk Grove Marathon. It was natural for me to go to Marathon where he continues to provide excellent service. Always polite and knowledgeable and personable. All at EGV Marathon are top notch. Even in the worst of weather conditions when I needed immediate help, they were right there and in no time my car was repaired and I was on my way. I trust them and recommend them to all I know.

Another amazing experience with EGM! Had Bob install a high performance lower motor mount for me. Feels amazing compared to stock. Couldn’t be any happier & the price was lower then anticipated.
I strongly recommend this auto repair service. This was my first time here and it was surprisingly clean from other shops I have been in and I was immediately greeted with a smile which I find also rare in this type of business. I had my brakes replaced and fluid flushed. From start to finish, it was a great experience and I will be using them as my preferred auto repair service moving forward!
