I'm about to go out of town. And, of course, the "Maintenance Required" light on my 2004 Toyota Camry decided to go on. That being said, if I could give EGM Automotive a 10 star rating, I would. All because they checked my fluids, tire pressure & reset the gauge light on very short notice. Love their top-shelf service.
Russ is the best I explained to him I had an issue with my fuel system resulting in my CEL turning on, I came to the shop sorted out the issue left my car for a day and got it back the next day. This shop is very efficient and easy to work with. Once I came to pickup my car it drove like it was brand new and they even gave suggestions for other issues to fix at a later date. I look forward to doing business with this shop and recommend it for any beginner car owner.

Just got some new rotors installed and break pads. I had gone to 2 other shops and nobody could figure out the issue and one shop even made up an issue to try and make some money off me. I did bring it to one mechanic before this who said it might be my rotors but I had basically but the words in the dudes mouth. They quickly took my car and diagnosed the issue plus any other issues with the car and didn’t even charge a fee. I didn’t have a ride back and was trying to order a Lyft but they actually drove me home! They called me back a few hours later and came and picked me up which I thought was such a bonus and gave me the run down. I was able to chose which repairs I wanted done first and was educated on which one was the most serious and needed to be fixed first. I brought my car in for repairs two days later and my car was fixed a few hours later. They had also picked me up when they were done with repairs. The car is driving better then it has in the longest time. I am so happy to have found a reliable mechanic considering all my bad experiences. They really do deserve the ratings they have these guys know what they are doing and treat you like your business actually matters to them which is hard to come by now a days in the car industry. This will be my go to shop no matter how far I move only exception being if I move out of state.

This shop is highly recommended and I can see why. They are personable, friendly and very busy and they do great work! They did about $ 2500. in major repairs and worked with my warranty company to get approval for repairs and file the claims for reimbursement. i will definitely go back to them for all my automotive needs very simply because they are good, and I trust them! Trust is huge in this industry and if you find a shop that does good work and you feel you can trust them, you have to support them! I have known Russ prior to Elk Grove Marathon. It was natural for me to go to Marathon where he continues to provide excellent service. Always polite and knowledgeable and personable. All at EGV Marathon are top notch. Even in the worst of weather conditions when I needed immediate help, they were right there and in no time my car was repaired and I was on my way. I trust them and recommend them to all I know.

Another amazing experience with EGM! Had Bob install a high performance lower motor mount for me. Feels amazing compared to stock. Couldn’t be any happier & the price was lower then anticipated.
I strongly recommend this auto repair service. This was my first time here and it was surprisingly clean from other shops I have been in and I was immediately greeted with a smile which I find also rare in this type of business. I had my brakes replaced and fluid flushed. From start to finish, it was a great experience and I will be using them as my preferred auto repair service moving forward!

What of the best things I Love about EGM, not only the employees, as they are the best, they will recommend if you car may need repairs, but they will never make you feel that you need to have it all done at once..
Our vehicle needed many repairs and some of them were bigger jobs. They worked with me to help me stay close to my budget and completed the repairs in a timely manner.
I work on my own car but I can not do it all, I use EGM when the work is over my head because they have awesome ratings and because of there great service and work ethic! Thanks EGM for getting my car fixed and back to me within a day or two.
Highly recommend it. It's is good place with professional staff. Helped me fix steering related issues within a day. They informed about the problem and the discussed the costs upfront before any repairs. The costs might be bit higher compared to competitors but I guess they their professionalism compensates for it.

I have been hearing about the good reviews through an Elk Grove Facebook group. We have 2 cars and a friends car that we wanted to try an honest and trustworthy shop. My jeep needed ball joints and Ubolts and tie rod. They did a great job. Daughters car needed alot of little things for safety and my friends needed the air conditioner compressor replaced. We are all very happy with the work done here. We will continue to use them and recommend them. Thanks!

Ever since I started driving my dad's been my mechanic. The few times I've had to go elsewhere, I've really never had a good experience.That being said, you can imagine how frustrated I felt when my car died and my dad was out of town. I checked a few reviews around the area and reluctantly had my car towed to EGM.To my surprise, they diagnosed it and fixed it within a couple days. After a few months, the part they put in wound up going bad. Rather than arguing with me about it or telling me it's somehow my fault (as has happened at a couple other places I've been to) they honored their warranty and had a new one put in the same day, and now the car is working great.In these times where it seems like everyone is out to lie and cheat their way to an extra buck, it's nice to find a place where people are honest and actually care about their customers.
I was told by Midas on Golf in A.H that I needed to have front brakes done within a month. I got a bad feeling and EGM was recommended to me and brought my car in for front brakes and they called me to say I had 70% left on the front and 80% left on the back. My jaw dropped and I was mad that Midas tried to rip me off and thankful that there are still honest people in this world. Way to go EGM team. I’m a customer for life and I told a coworker this story and he asked me to get him your business card.Thanks again!
Went to EGM Automotive when i noticed the AC in my car started blowing warm. They worked their magic while I sat in their very comfortable waiting area. My AC blows so cold and works so well my husband took his van their a few days later. Very reasonably priced and quality work. What I liked best is while I sat in there waiting on my car several other customers came in and you could tell by the conversation they were all longtime customers. I just moved to area and now have a place I would be confident taking my vehicles!
We love EGM Automotive! I trust them with any of my auto repairs. My parents use them as well, and love them! I recently had my rear brakes redone at EGM, and got a phone call to explain what I needed and how it works. We will continue to go to EGM Automotive in the future for our service.
I have such a great experience out of what would’ve been a very stressful time. My vehicle was towed to EGM not knowing them at all other than seeing their reviews online. Went here because they're literally 4 minutes away from my work when I had a big nail in my tire and needed it patched. It was only $35 bucks and I think I was there less than 30 minutes, which was impressive because they appear to be quite busy. I just got my oil changed there, again the service was quick and they are super nice guys. Being able to set the appointment up online was great also. I am going back there in a few weeks to get my brakes done and they even have a shuttle service to take me back to work that day. Definitely go to this place for your car!!
I originally came upon EGM Automotive as a neighboring business to mine back in October of 2022. I was advertising for an event we were organizing to benefit WINGS. When I came into the shop to inquire, Randy introduced me to the owner, Manny. I asked him for help with getting the word out about the event on his leaderboard at the corner of Devon & Rohlwing – he didn’t hesitate. I recently realized the convenience of having my vehicle serviced so close to work and decided to do the next oil change there. With the oil change came a free full vehicle inspection to which Manny informed me that my there was premature leaking of my rear wheel shocks, causing those tires to wear unevenly. I told him that I was pretty disappointed to hear that as I literally dropped several thousand dollars at the dealership just a month or so prior with no news of this issue from them. Manny suspected that this could be warranty work and went above and beyond for me by calling the dealership to confirm that it was in fact work still covered by warranty (saving me over $800!) . I have that appointment scheduled at Patrick Hyundai this Friday. I have to say that not only am I am beyond impressed with the thoroughness of the workmanship of EGM Automotive, but I’m glad to be working with an honest shop finally. Their atmosphere and staff is welcoming. Their pricing is fair and their customer service is bar none. I plan to continue to have my vehicle serviced at EGM Automotive from here on out.
If you're searching for professional, courteous and thorough auto service may I recommend EGM. My 01 Silverado needed a fuel pump replacement which was replaced in less than 2 days. I'm back on the road thanks to Randy and his top flight technicians. With the cost of new vehicles skyrocketing, keeping my 21 year old Chevy on the road is more important than ever.
