What of the best things I Love about EGM, not only the employees, as they are the best, they will recommend if you car may need repairs, but they will never make you feel that you need to have it all done at once..
Our vehicle needed many repairs and some of them were bigger jobs. They worked with me to help me stay close to my budget and completed the repairs in a timely manner.
They were extremely professional. They got me in a very timely fashion, and completed the work quickly at reasonable price. Nothing but high marks for this business.
By far the best experience I've ever had at repair shop. No upselling no games just the honest truth. I will definitely be a returning customer. Give them the opportunity and you won't be disappointed.
All was good. Here are my take aways: 1) Service was prompt, initial phone call was answered by a real person in a short time. Scheduling an appt. was no problem and my nuances were handled to my satisfaction. Car was finished sooner than I expected. 2) Pickup was quick. I had a mask on (I'm older) and when I approached the door everyone that didn't have a mask on cleared out and those that took care of me put a mask on. Really means a lot, as a customer concerned about getting Covid I can say that not all establishments care about Covid and I will usually avoid those businesses. I know more people now that have gotten Covid than at the height of the pandemic. 3) The complimentary snacks were awesome. 4) The repair itself was done well with parts I personally sourced. I was able to save a lot of money by not having to get a new component and I am really glad EGM could finish the job I started but didn't have the expertise to complete. 5) I also appreciate that they honored the coupon I surprised them with. Really helps in these inflationary times, showed a lot of integrity.Thanks,David
I work on my own car but I can not do it all, I use EGM when the work is over my head because they have awesome ratings and because of there great service and work ethic! Thanks EGM for getting my car fixed and back to me within a day or two.
This place is scam. Rip off saying they only use special parts and charges 500+ dollars for a 30 dollar part that takes 15 seconds to do. Best part is the part they said they have to wait for a week is all a common part at an auto store. Don’t go here they are your typical auto shop scammers. Not an honest company !
Highly recommend it. It's is good place with professional staff. Helped me fix steering related issues within a day. They informed about the problem and the discussed the costs upfront before any repairs. The costs might be bit higher compared to competitors but I guess they their professionalism compensates for it.
I needed an oil change and wanted a second opinion on some expensive repairs that were recommended by another shop. EGM confirmed that those repairs were not necessary. Going forward, I will be using EGM and have peace of mind that they will do right by me and my vehicle.
EGM is a very professional automotive service business. They kept me updated on when they could look at vehicle, diagnose it, order parts, and get my family and I back on the road. They replaced my tires and also added new brakes. Their prices are fair, their service is TREMENDOUS!!!They are the best auto repair service in Elk Grove Village.
I had a flat and needed help asap. EGM was closest to me at the time and I'm so happy they were! I got my car to them and they quickly and professionally helped me, even without appointment. I will be going back for sure!
Seamless repair experience. Agreed to order parts in advance and scheduled service in advance. Quoted price seemed in line and charged exactly what I was quoted. Randy kept me updated throughout the process which I appreciate. Overall very pleased and will return.

I have been hearing about the good reviews through an Elk Grove Facebook group. We have 2 cars and a friends car that we wanted to try an honest and trustworthy shop. My jeep needed ball joints and Ubolts and tie rod. They did a great job. Daughters car needed alot of little things for safety and my friends needed the air conditioner compressor replaced. We are all very happy with the work done here. We will continue to use them and recommend them. Thanks!
I contacted the owner to see if he was interested in purchasing my car! I had issues with it over a month ago. I was at another dealer and they told me that my hyundai Sonata needed a new engine. I couldn't afford to replace it. Manny the owner explained to me that Hyundai extended my warranty and to call the dealership to see about getting the engine replaced. I did exactly what he told me to do. After some very stressful months Ive had Hyundai called me and they are replacing it. I can't thank EGM (Manny) enough. He didn't take advantage of me and lead me in the right direction. This made my holidays. Thank you again.
Ever since I started driving my dad's been my mechanic. The few times I've had to go elsewhere, I've really never had a good experience.That being said, you can imagine how frustrated I felt when my car died and my dad was out of town. I checked a few reviews around the area and reluctantly had my car towed to EGM.To my surprise, they diagnosed it and fixed it within a couple days. After a few months, the part they put in wound up going bad. Rather than arguing with me about it or telling me it's somehow my fault (as has happened at a couple other places I've been to) they honored their warranty and had a new one put in the same day, and now the car is working great.In these times where it seems like everyone is out to lie and cheat their way to an extra buck, it's nice to find a place where people are honest and actually care about their customers.
Called last minute to get my tire repaired in winter storm weather. They booked me for a service immediately and fixed my flat tire quickly and professionally. Couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommend.
Manny and his crew members are some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. They are super knowledgeable, actually listen to your own diagnostics, and have a reasonable price for all of your repairs. I got A/C motor replaced and new tires. Not only do they do exceptional work but they have same day service but they have a ferry system for still getting you to work or home while the work is being completed.
I was told by Midas on Golf in A.H that I needed to have front brakes done within a month. I got a bad feeling and EGM was recommended to me and brought my car in for front brakes and they called me to say I had 70% left on the front and 80% left on the back. My jaw dropped and I was mad that Midas tried to rip me off and thankful that there are still honest people in this world. Way to go EGM team. I’m a customer for life and I told a coworker this story and he asked me to get him your business card.Thanks again!
I took my car to EGM automotive in the afternoon and they were able to get it back to me that same day, right before the holiday weekend! On top of that, they offer shuttle service and gave me a ride to work. Randy communicated very clearly about cost and confirmed the work with me first. This place was great, and we'll be using them for our auto needs in the future.
They were EXTREMELY efficient. They were honest and very trustworthy. They did a complete job when other auto shops tried up selling me. Was actually a breath of fresh air to work with EGM. I highly highly recommend and will be recommending them to my family and friends.
Went to EGM Automotive when i noticed the AC in my car started blowing warm. They worked their magic while I sat in their very comfortable waiting area. My AC blows so cold and works so well my husband took his van their a few days later. Very reasonably priced and quality work. What I liked best is while I sat in there waiting on my car several other customers came in and you could tell by the conversation they were all longtime customers. I just moved to area and now have a place I would be confident taking my vehicles!
We love EGM Automotive! I trust them with any of my auto repairs. My parents use them as well, and love them! I recently had my rear brakes redone at EGM, and got a phone call to explain what I needed and how it works. We will continue to go to EGM Automotive in the future for our service.
I have such a great experience out of what would’ve been a very stressful time. My vehicle was towed to EGM not knowing them at all other than seeing their reviews online. They were so kind and got me taken care of right away. It was affordable and they were super thorough. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back now on a regular basis
