No complaints about the diagnostics that you did. But when I brought my vehicle in to get the diagnostics, I had explained that it was for an engine that we had purchased from a company. We believe the engine was defective, and that the company would provide us another engine per the diagnostics report that you would run. At the time of my initial contact with you, you did not state that you would be unwilling to swap the new engine that we would get from that company. After the fact, you stated you would only install an engine that you provided. That makes no sense for me as why would I purchase another engine from you when I get a free replacement from the other company. I was very specific about you swapping the engine out at my initial contact with you. Had I known that you were unwilling to do that I would not have brought my vehicle to your shop to have a diagnostics check. I had to pay for another trailer to now remove the vehicle from your shop. I’m now taking it to another shop who is willing to swap out the engine. also, when you did the diagnostics report, it would’ve been helpful to have videos and photos of problems with the cylinders that you noted so that I could provide those along with the diagnostics report to the engine company. So now I have to go to another shop to get those videos and photos because a report alone is not enough to put a warranty claim in. Any warranty company is going to want to see photos or videos.

PPI did not have cost estimates to address the findings. I called on Friday (the day after the PPI) to request but have not yet received that information.

My family and I have been coming to Atlantic Autowerks for over 20yrs. Great customer service, honest opinions, great pricing, quick turnaround, and quality work. They are the premier BMW auto repair shop in Virginia.

1. The owner is very rude. No respects whatsoever when talking to customers including myself.2. I took my vehicle to be fixed, they made me purchase an expensive part to resolve the problem with my vehicle. After putting the part, the issue did not go away.3. I took the car back to them, then they wanted to buy another part that cost almost $5000 for the same issue.4. Poor Mechanic experience and could not figure it out but wanted me to keep buying parts.5. I used to like this place but there is a huge change in the workers performance and experience there now. I will not take my vehicle there anymore and will not suggest anyone to waste your hard working in buying parts that your vehicles don't need.

Our car would not turn over after fueling up at BJ’s (just before Labor day weekend). After contacting Dave at Autowerks, a flatbed tow truck was dispatched and the car was at Atlantic Autowerks before 5 pm. The diagnosis was it needed a starter and repaired quickly. This was my first time here and I’m glad to have found this shop. It’s clean, easy to get to, and they’re very efficient: I was in and out in ~1.5 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection. Price was fair and reasonable. Once my vehicle is out of warranty, I’ll be bringing it here exclusively.

Took my 2018 540 here for oil change and inspection, the woman who helped me setup my appt was SUPER pleasant and very patient w answering my questions to make sure I understood everything. They got me in and out super fast, the technicians are very friendly and seemed very honest. Did not try to sell me anything!! I think I’ll be going back to this team for anything regarding my BMW! Sorry I didn’t catch anyone’s name but I will in the future!!
