I was looking for info on an upgrade for my truck. I called Rick's and spoke with Tim. From the moment I called, Tim was courteous, informative, and helpful. It was because of him that I decided to go with Rick's for the work. I took my 7.3 Powerstroke to get fitted for a new FASS fuel system and I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the customer service I received. I will absolutely go back for any work I need done. I love family businesses and would recommend this shop to anyone. I would like to thank Tim, Rick, and their staff for all their hard work. My family and I lived in Springfield for nine years (2000-2009) and we took our vehicles to Rick's for work. We always found the service staff first class-individuals with equally first class work and service. This past week, two of my kids and I were passing through Springfield visiting friends, and our suburban dashboard lights went off like the fourth of July, and clanking sound. I tried to make on-line reservation but Rick's all booked up for next few days, so I called and reached Service Advisor Keith, who remembered me and family, and got us an appointment for following morning. Brought car in, and Michah Blake was the service advisor. IT was so great to see him again. First - great guy, Second - he knows what he is doing. He arranged Ben to transport me to another location to see friends, while the car was serviced. I returned a few hours later. Micah said car needed some work and Ben could drive me to friend's house while work was being done....I stayed to read, and glad I did. First, Tim Cummings, Vice President, came to waiting area to great me, say hello, catch up on families, and then showed me the new facility. Great to see him. He is rock-star person. Then the owner, Rich himself came to visit as he heard our car was being serviced and we hadn't seen each other in over seven years. Great to see him. No wonder so many of his employees have been with Rick for decades. He is awesome leader and person. Needless to say the work (Performed by Jesse) was perfect as we drove nearly 1,000 miles the next few days with "O" issues. Jesse left a nice note in the car - hand written - thanking us for loyalty. What a great guy. Also meet Austin, another service tech, who is entering the US Army as he got called up to perform maintenance for Army vehicles. Overall Rick's Automotive is not only one of the best service experiences year over year, but one could not ask for better people or quality of service from any other store, regardless of service. I would rank Rick's Automotive as one of the highest quality companies that I've ever worked with. THANK YOU! I forgot to mention that Rick's donates so much to the Springfield and broader community that he has been recognized by the Missouri State legislature and others many times. If you need service for your vehicle and in the Ozarks, go to Rick's. You will not be disappointed.

My headlight has been out for a while, decided to get it done last minute and Ricks automotive were there to help me! Extremely friendly staff that went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right. I'm definite going to be recommending them and coming back!

Rick runs an excellent auto service garage that can tackle a variety of problems. In my case he fixed the air conditioner on 2000 Mercedes-Benz, a car we bought used and that had a lot of miles on it. He did an outstanding job and 18 months later the air conditioner is still working beautifully.

I have been going to Rick's for a least 25 years. I had a problem with my suspension, it was under warranty so I took it to the dealer. The Dealer fixed the suspension problem, but told me I needed new breaks and tires. I took my car to Rick's to get the new breaks, and he told me my breaks are fine and would be good for at least a year. I did need new tires. Rick's is not only honest, you can count on them to do good work and stand behind. If they need to change a price the quoted you, they call and let you know about it. A great and reliable place to get your car repaired.

I randomly found Rick's when I was looking to get my exhaust leak fixed one day and have been back a few times since. Tim, Jake and the guys over there are super friendly and extremely thorough. I'm very picky about my car as it is a pretty rare CTS-V wagon (manual) and I definitely don't want anyone effing it up. But I trust these guys to work on my car. Highly recommend for all car maintenance needs.

Friendly , excellent service I knew what the price would be almost to the penny before I ever got to the shop! Efficient and knowledgeable.

Polite, professional and did the work quickly. Phone quote was slightly higher than automd and Rick honored the lower quote. Will come back!

Over charged me. Then gave me back my car with a dead battery. The desk person was Completely unapologetic. There was also a momnet that reeked of sexism from the staff. Ladies stay away please. RUDE TO WOMEN. DO NOT Go HERE

People you can trust. Period. Had my car serviced at Rick's then had to take my Honda to the Reseda dealer for a recall. The dealer had the shocking opinion to tell me my brakes where in the red right after I had me car serviced at Rick's a week earlier when they gave me a 70% ware report on my brakes for my Honda. Obviously a bump. Thank you Rick's....shame on you Reseda Kobe....Figure that one out. Ha ha.

They charged a diagnostic fee of $100+ to read a computer code... Which some places do, some don't. I was clear I couldn't afford what I thought had rendered my vehicle undriveable and would just junk it over a certain repair estimate. I was given a list of things that were wrong, probably pretty accurate. However one being a total $$$ deal breaker, so my vehicle sat on the street for a while until an out-of-town mechanic friend came by & had a look. He replaced an intake and some minor things and its been running again for over 100 miles with no issues. Couldn't even drive it around the block before. I'm not saying it's in perfect condition. But I'm saying these guys didn't give me that option. Its safe, its driving. I might get another year or 2 out of it. They are really, really nice there. Its local. It's a clean and professional looking shop. I'm just disappointed they couldn't help me and someone else could, so I probably won't try them again next time.
