Nice people but the prices are too too high. All mechanics around them are very busy but they may have couple of customers. I guess they don't believe in competitions. Good luck Rick & Tim!

GOOD HONEST MECAHNICS. I was planning to buy a used car from a dude on Craigslist but had them check it out first and BOY am I glad I did. They did a thorough inspection and made sure to let me know that the car had some major issues. They talked to me on the side and gave me some good advice how to handle the situation. When the seller started getting unreasonable I didn't have to say anything, they were vocal and defended my cause. I HAPPILY paid for that inspection bcause it saved me thousands of dollars and a potential headache from buying a lemon. Even though they are not in my area ( I went to them because they were close to where I was buying the used car) I am seriously considering going to them in the future. Really honest, kind, thorough, and worth every penny. THANK YOU GUYS!

I have taken my car to Rick's for years. They have maintained my 2006 Highlander so perfectly that I am just a few miles away from 300,000! Amazing. They are knowledgeable, courteous and always there when I need advice or service. I will never use any other mechanic. I HIGHLY recommend Rick's Automotive... my husband does as well.

I had recently taken my Subaru into my local Subaru dealer for an oil change and inspection. They were recommending that I replace my head gasket as the engine was leaking. I came to Rick's for a second opinion and inspection as part of a claim process as my car was still under third-party warranty. Tim and the team inspected the items I mentioned and steam-cleaned the area where it was leaking to get a better look. With the clean on the engine head they didn't see any damage or leakage occurring and indicated that the car looked fine mechanically. I am so glad I brought the car in for a second opinion before requesting unnecessary repairs or potentially paying out of pocket. Tim even only charged me only for the steam clean and not the inspection/claim process which lowered my total a bit. Highly recommend !!!

What type of independent auto shop tells you that they can do the work for you but that the work that needs to be done might be covered under your car's existing long-term warranty? Rick's is that kind of place. They saved me an unnecessary $1500 replacement when my Honda's catalytic converter died. Turns out it WAS covered. For this, I have been back to have my car serviced here. They truly know how important a relationship built on honesty, trust, and quality can be. Take your car here tomorrow.

I have been using Rick's since we moved to Granada Hills so probably almost 20 years now. My first impression was how clean and orderly the shop was and that hasn't changed all these years. Rick and Tim are always pleasant and knowledgeable. I've rarely had any issues with a repair or tires I've bought from them and if I have they resolved it quickly. I highly recommend them if you need an honest mechanic in the Granada Hills area.

I'm really happy to find a great diesel tech in the area. These folks do great work and they're incredibly courteous. Tim has been very willing to answer all my questions and gives me a thorough run down, both during and after each service.

Professional, knowledgeable automotive service team. Trustworthy, quality, and dependable service you can count on. They will help keep your car running smoothly if you try and follow their recommendations for future service. I've been offered and given rides home whenever needed. If you're looking for automotive specialists you can trust you've just found them.

I have been going to Ricks for 5 years now. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have 2 older cars that Rick and Tim service from top to bottom. Their work is clean and quick, their record keeping excellent, and their pricing is very fair. You won't go wrong bringing your automotive needs to Ricks.

Great service, with repairs warrantied for 24 months. Did such a great job on my BMW (spark plug change, oil change, thermostat replacement) that I took my wife's Jeep in to them. Honest guys who do good, quality work. Will be taking my cars to them for as long as I can.
