Foreign Traffic is a very professional service center. I have taken my 2001 BMW there now probably about seven times over the years, and they are wonderfully thorough when it comes to diagnostic work, and they often find latent problems starting well before any problems turns into a big issues. In the longer run, this is a cost saver to me. They have developed my trust over the years, because they are nicely transparent about everything. They share with you the print-out of the diagnostic data, or they will take you into the garage and physically show you the problem on your car. I've never felt they are trying to squeeze me. BMWs have a lot of technical idiosyncrasies that Foreign Traffic mechanics seem to have mastered. The service department keeps you regularly informed on what's happening, and they are good at sticking to a timetable. If that timetable changes, they let you know ASAP, and tell you what's going on. Professional. That kind of predicability is important to me. They have also given me a no-charge "loaner" car whenever I've had to leave my car with them, and that feature is really priceless. Foreign Traffic's rates and costs are probably comparable to most BMW dealership services, but Foreign Traffic does far better service and have, in my opinion, superior knowledge of my car's systems, and superior mechanical skills. Nice place to do business with.

Service department is top notch, very accommodating and honest. I would take my BMW X3 back anytime for service.

Top notch service, hands-down. The repair professionals are knowledgeable, efficient, and detail oriented. I will never take a German car to the dealer for service again.

I've bought 2 great cars here, because Rob knows his inventory and cars extremely well and creates a Nordstrom customer service culture. Hours are convenient and loaners available for service.

Treated me very well the first few times I was there. Recently took my car in to get a side mirror replaced and to diagnose and issue with the fans. Before I left I asked them to call me before we did any work, especially if it was substantial. After finding out the work to fix the fans was going to be $750, I asked them to hold off. They said the mirror had already been replaced. I was never quoted a price for the mirror. Went to get my car and was presented with a $640 dollar bill.... for a side mirror. The part alone was $477, which is close to twice the price of any mirror I have found. Based on this they either mark up their parts at least 40%, or have the worst parts supplier ever known to mankind. Anyone with common sense and decency would have let me know a mirror cost that much before they did it no questions asked. I realized I should have asked for a direct quote but I had been there a few times and like I said, they treated me well, so I never explicitly asked. I feel like they took that opportunity to take me for a ride. Also, the owner would usually text me or email me after I went there to make sure the experience was "excellent." I messaged him first this time, let him know I was unhappy and wanted to talk about the situation. Guess what, never heard back.
