Took my 2008 BMW in because the hood was jammed. They were able to fix it at a fair price. No parts, just labor to get it open and lubricate the latches.
As a customer for years I fully TRUST their work and honesty to not do unnecessary work. I am completely satisfied when the work is done also. I highly recommend this place for sales and SERVICE.
Straight-shooters, fair prices, altogether trustworthy. Sometimes it's hard to find your car in their lot when they are done working on it, but while hunting it you have a good time looking at all the amazing cars that they work on.

The team at Foreign Traffic did an incredible job finding and fixing the problem on our Mini Cooper S. They are the first service shop to show us the damaged parts and explain what steps they took to address the problem. Based on our experience, we plan to bring all our vehicles to Foreign Traffic for servicing needs.

I have not been to Foreign Traffic for a while but I recently purchased a used Jaguar and went there for my serve first service appointment they are the nicest, and most honest people that I can recommend when you have to have your car serviced at a dealership.I highly recommend them
I began going to FT because they are the only auto company near Pgh that does Nitro for tires which I had started using while in living in FL. I have a 2014 Ford Escape that got not much tire wear but nontheless the roads take their toll. I moved back to Pgh and for the last 5 years I have kept up the Nitro which I feel has kept my ORIGINAL tires going strong. I have just had FT put on new tires. They were professional, attentive to my concerns on my tires & finally said they thought that new tires were warrented. FT does not do what is not needed they do what is necessary. I highly recommend them for whatever car you drive.
These guys are always friendly and respectful. They take time to explain everything and no question is a dumb question. They are honest and take good care of my car. Won't go anywhere else for service.
Foreign Traffic completed a state inspection, wheel alignment, vehicular health check, and maintenance on my sunroof all in one day and provided a great loaner vehicle that allowed me to go about my day as normal. Not only was all the service completed to the highest standard they also provided information on systems of concern with options on when and the various costs of options to go about fixing them in the future.
The staff at Foreign Traffic are always very attentive, and really stop to explain the problem, figure out the best path forward and the most cost-effective way. And they take the time to explain that. Our car always feels great leaving Foreign Traffic.
I first learned of Foreign Traffic from a letter they sent me. I'm glad they did. I have become increasingly unhappy with the dealership's handling of my vehicles. They are no longer concerned with experience and knowledge with their staffing, especially the service writers. I've had to educate the people behind the counter up in Wexford more than once. It wasn't like that when it was owned by Bilco.So -- Foreign Traffic to the rescue.The guys at Foreign Traffic are attentive, they understand the needs of the vehicle, and if there is any gray area, they investigate right away. They make sure to be on the same page as you are, and if anything goes slightly amiss, they will do their best to reach that point where you are leaving the place satisfied.
This is a preferable alternative for dealership service especially when your local mechanic cannot fix some problems with luxury cars and asks you to go to a dealer instead. Their scheduling, customer service and quality of work is excellent. Thus far, they were able to resolve what is typically only possible in a dealership service.
I recently brought my Audi in to Foreign Traffic for a quote after receiving a quote from the dealership for well over $3000. Foreign Traffic was able to get my car in for a quote quickly and gave me an honest run down of the damage, which differed from what the dealer was claiming. I took my car in for repair a few weeks later and they kept me updated on the status of the repair and charged half of what the dealership would have.I definitely would bring my car back for future repairs!
My 2002 Volvo lost all acceleration power, and was coughing and choking it's way down the road. The "check engine" light was flashing on and off, which I never saw before. They are so busy it took a couple days to get me in, but the car is now back to normal. I spent over $900, mostly on parts like coils and plugs, but I was happy they could get parts for such an old vehicle. I would definitely take my Volvo back to Foreign Traffic!

I am from out of town and was referred to Foreign Traffic by the President of the local BMWCCA Chapter. My 2007 BMW required repairs to correct damaged front suspension, a cracked oil pan and damaged oil drain line. My service advisor, Sonny was very helpful and communicative throughout the repair process, and offered cost effective options for the required repairs. I would highly recommend Foreign Traffic for service and repairs.
We take our Volkswagen vehicles to foreign traffic because we know they'll fix them correctly there. The guys there are always friendly, their rates are good and they wash your car for you when they're done too!

These guys are the best. Sonny went above and beyond to make sure that they looked at everything I pointed out may be wrong with my vehicle. They found a problem I wasn't even aware of, contacted the warranty company, and had everything taken care of all within the time they had my car. I recommend these guys to anyone I can.
I have been using Foreign Traffic for about 5 years now for both the purchase of my vehicle and service. I will continue going here for as long as I live in the area. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and my car is returned with adequate resolutions. One perk I highly value is the ability to acquire a loaner efficiently so that I can return at a later time.
Excellent place to service your foreign brand car. I've got a Subaru and I won't take it anywhere else. Quality service, friendly technicians, good location right on rt 8, can take anything from my beat up old Sub to much nicer Volvo I used to have. They even have a good number of classic cars to check out while you wait for an oil change or what not. Have a car service to to drive you home if you're going to leave it for a few days. Also has a night box if you need to drop it off after hours. Fantastic place have been going for years and will keep going for years.
Besides having owned many cars in my life...and, of course, having had them all serviced at one time or another, I also worked as a sales person at an automotive dealership. Therefore, I can confidently say that I have had quite a bit of experience with many automotive service departments. I currently drive an Audi TT. It was my good fortune to have an acquaintance suggest that I give Foreign Traffic ImportSales & Service a try the next time my car required maintenance. I took his suggestion and did just that! I will never look back! Foreign Traffic Import Sales & Service goes above and beyond any service I have ever experienced, and they don’t gouge your pockets in the process! Their workmanship, honesty and integrity are above reproach. And the icing on the cake...your car is always sparkling clean when you pick it up! So, do yourself a favor...you won’t regret it. Call Foreign Traffic the next time you need service. Sonny and Nick are the Service Advisors to ask for, they’ll take excellent care of your vehicle.And as a side note, I must give a shout out to the Service Manager, Jim! He is the man behind all the action and I believe he should get credit for running such a great service department!
I have YET to walk away a dissatisfied customer. Sonny, Nick, and everyone at Foreign Traffic Import Sales & Service are nice, professional, and overall great people! I’ve been taking my BMW there for a couple of years for various issues, and they’ve treated me with respect and understanding. My only wish is that the service department had Saturday hours, but everyone needs a day off, right? I trust them with my BMW and I wouldn’t take her anywhere else. Thank you guys for all you do!
