- We have been doing business with Foreign Traffic for the last 6 years. two of our cars were purchased from Foreign Traffic and 100% of our service has been done there. I cannot say enough about both their service and sales. Both of our purchases were extremely easy and enjoyable. Our cars have been extremely reliable and enjoyable to drive, not to mention the thousands we saved compared to buying from the new car dealers. I have sent many friends to Foreign Traffic, and they too have been very pleasantly pleased with both their car purchases and the service. If you are looking for the nicest used cars available at a fair price and great service as well, the folks at Foreign Traffic are definately your people.

As a sales professional, I log a lot of miles. My business partner and I drive approximately 80,000 miles per year, so we trade in vehicles often. Foreign Traffic has been our choice for premium quality vehicles and service, for many years. They always seem to have a desirable inventory, and we trust the sales staff for their knowledge and honesty. If you're looking for an excellent quality preowned vehicle, I would highly recommend you stop and see Bill or Rob at Foreign Traffic for a great deal.Bill B.

After years of taking my car to the dealership (and getting admittedly good service), I received a HUGE repair bill estimate on my 110k+ mile A4. Enough that I seriously considered getting a new car. A friend recommended getting an estimate from Foreign Traffic so I took her in. PC at Foreign Traffic explained the work that needed to be done and the prices for each part+labor. Their estimate beat my dealer's. So rather than junk my baby, I went with the repairs. They were done in a couple days and meanwhile, I was given a nice A6 loaner to drive. I also asked them to do my annual state inspections and while that resulted in additional needed repairs, I can vouch that the dealer would have charged way more. PC was very straightforward and honest with me about the things I'd need to do in order to extend the life of the car for (hopefully) years to come. In short, my baby's got a new lease on life. I had never really thought I'd take her past 120k but now I'm hoping for even more than that. While I have nothing negative to say about the level of service and professionalism at my dealer, the lower cost of work at Foreign Traffic combined with their also excellent work means I think I've found a new service partner for my car.

I have purchased 4 vehicles from Foreign Traffic and had each serviced there as well. Each buying experience was great and I have recommended this dealership to many friends and family. On the service side, they are not the cheapest out there - but I have learned you get what you pay for with mechanics many times. I've worked with pretty much the same mechanic at FT for 10 years.

I am sadly writing this review in disbelief, that a diligently "dealer" maintained vehicle, with very low mileage has now been totaled by the insurance company due to a very mysterious fire in the engine compartment. Foreign Traffic just completed a manufacturer recommended service, a couple months prior. One can potentially assume sloppy work or oversight on their part, during their overpriced service! I had even checked them out through the Better Business Bureau, I would be very cautious taking your vehicle to this company!

Took my 2015 Audi A6 to Foreign Traffic after the Local Audi Dealer ( Sewickley Audi) refused to work with me on a Sirius radio/antenna issue. ( that review will be on Their yelp/google site). Foreign traffic was great. All around. Friendly went above and beyond. They fixed the issues at hand. Including a rear parking sensor issue that required bumper removal. ( I did bring my own Shark Fin Replacement antenna. It wasn't an exact color match so they took the guts of the newer one and used the old one and made it work. GREAT. All of this at probably 75% less than what the dealer just wanted for the antenna issue. Do yourself a favor...if you have a foreign car and an issue arises that may require significant work or repair. Take it to these guys. It was my first time taking a car there and if I have any other issues I will be back. Thanks Foreign Traffic

Update: They contacted me and refunded my money for the diagnostic since I had to take my car elsewhere and have another diagnostic done, so I bumped them up from one star to three stars. I do appreciate that. Original Review: I brought my car in with multiple issues. They couldn't fix any of them and told me I'd have to take it to the dealer. One issue was that my fan was noisy. They said on the phone, "that's just what they sound like". It started rattling again a few minutes after I left. I've had the car for 3 years. The noise is new. I was told that they couldn't do my transmission there... or fix my back hatch... or fix my Bluetooth radio. Ok? So when I called and explained all the vehicle's issues while I was making the appointment, why was I not told that they did NOT have the capability to actually fix anything? Did they think I was just wanting to know what was wrong? I just wanted to waste some time first and THEN take it somewhere that would actually fix it? RIDICULOUS! Actually, the diagnostics were not great either. A few recommendations was it. I tried asking a few questions when I picked up my car and the guy I spoke with was in too much of a hurry to speak to me. His phone was ringing and that was more important. I definitely got hurried out of there. Now I'm paying AGAIN to get my car looked at by the dealer. $135 per issue because I'm too nervous now to take it anywhere else around here! What a hassle. I read good reviews about this place but i honestly do not see why. Excited about the loaner car option? Don't be. Mine was a Subaru that CLUNKED loudly over every bump. They can't fix their loaner cars either I guess? Sorry! I'd like to say SOMETHING positive but I got NOTHING.

Bought my Audi TTS from Rob at Foreign Traffic last month. He knew the car very well and it's features, was great to work with, and went above and BEYOND what any other dealership has ever done for me to show their appreciation for becoming a customer. He even spent 30 minutes after purchase with me in the car teaching me how to use all the gadgets and get everything I needed setup with my preferences. I definitely recommend making your next luxury car purchase with Rob and Foreign Traffic. Great experience and great service!

Called for an estimate for new brake pads and rotors. Was quoted $800 on the phone. Brought the car in. Lo and behold, was charged $1100. Okay--fine. I will deal with the upcharge though not happy about it. Then drove away and the tires were all out of balance, car shaking when I went fast. So brought it back and they said: "yup; all tires out of balance." They re-balanced but then charged me for it!! It was only $65 but, come on! They obviously didn't put the tires back on the right way when they did the brake job; would have expected them to just comp me and apologize. Now, over $65, I'll never come back. Oh, and the loaner Cars they let you borrow (ironically) have barely functioning brakes. Very dangerous! UPDATE: I will say that after I posted my original review, the manager called me and was very nice and apologetic. He refunded the $65 and promised to look into the loaner car. That was solid customer service. In light of that follow up, I have bumped up my review from 1 to 3 stars.

Treated me very well the first few times I was there. Recently took my car in to get a side mirror replaced and to diagnose and issue with the fans. Before I left I asked them to call me before we did any work, especially if it was substantial. After finding out the work to fix the fans was going to be $750, I asked them to hold off. They said the mirror had already been replaced. I was never quoted a price for the mirror. Went to get my car and was presented with a $640 dollar bill.... for a side mirror. The part alone was $477, which is close to twice the price of any mirror I have found. Based on this they either mark up their parts at least 40%, or have the worst parts supplier ever known to mankind. Anyone with common sense and decency would have let me know a mirror cost that much before they did it no questions asked. I realized I should have asked for a direct quote but I had been there a few times and like I said, they treated me well, so I never explicitly asked. I feel like they took that opportunity to take me for a ride. Also, the owner would usually text me or email me after I went there to make sure the experience was "excellent." I messaged him first this time, let him know I was unhappy and wanted to talk about the situation. Guess what, never heard back.

You rock! After nearly three weeks of financial uncertainty; towing from one mechanic to the dealership and finally to foreign traffic. I was glad these guys were able to do a thorough diagnostic and provide reasonable estimates. They completed the work and I've been happy since. I'll be taking my other vehicles to them for sure. Thanks guys.

I personally have no experience with their service department but their sales department, particularly Bill Lindsay, set the standard for me on how a small independent dealership should operate. I drove 4 hours from Washington DC to purchase my 2014 Porsche Cayman from Bill and I will happily do it again without a second thought. It'll just give me an excuse to take a road trip back home with a new car. Thanks again guys! -Tae Kim

My review relates to the service department. Foreign Traffic has serviced my cars for years. From a Mazda 3 to a Porsche 911, they've been my go-to option for service. Never once have I felt like I was getting anything but the honest assessment of the state of my vehicles. They've checked alignment (only to tell me i don't need it), oil changes, and more involved work on my Porsche that required a few days. Sonny, Nick and the others in the service department are the best. Look at the lineup of vehicles they work on, from the rare to the common to the outrageously expensive, and you'll see that people who know cars rely on them. I think there are three things you need to have to survive this world. A good doctor, an accountant, and a mechanic you trust. FT takes care of the last one.

We took our x3 to two different dealerships in the area and every time I told them about the engine skipping on cold start. I found a mechanic locally who did a few minutes of research online and fixed it - twice. Then he went out of business. Meanwhile, I took the car to the dealers for oil changes over several years. The dealers never addressed the cold start "hiccups". When I checked the oil after a change, it still seemed dirty and the filter was also. After 3 years of trying to get either dealer to do their job correctly, we found Foreign Cars. They do the oil changes properly and have maintained our car well, talking to us each time there is a repair needed, keeping us informed and with choices. They are the best mechanics we have found in the area specializing in BMWs. Our car is in great shape at 80k miles and 8 years old.

Bill L was a great salesman to work with, down to earth and transparent. Rob was good to chat with as well... They obviously work hard to maintain and build an amazing inventory. Don't get it wrong, these folks specialize in high-end vehicles and you're not going to get a steal. It looks like most complaints I've seen are from people that want something for nothing or bought one of their customer trade-ins expecting something more. Love my Q7 S-Line!

Great place for service! Only place I'll take my BMW. Been using them for 4 years now. Not a single complaint.
