Scheduled an AC recharge for today July 25rh. Dropped car off and received a call within the hour. They informed me that the AC couldnt be charged due to mechanical issues with the entire system. My car had front end repairs and the system was improperly repaired. There was no charge for his time - he could have charged me for the inspection. I will definitely take my repairs to Shaw in the future. Very honest and trustworthy

Fantastic customer service. They informed me of issues to be on the look out for, but didn't try to upsale me on anything.
They serviced everything I asked for. We’re quick and affordable. Would love for my husband to bring his car here too but his warranty won’t allow him too. But I’ll be a returning customer.

These guys were fair and honest. Definitely check them out.
After being mislead on a vehicles condition and flying across the country to buy it there were quite a few problems. Shaw auto determined the most prevalent “road worthy” issues. Fixed them in a timely matter probably ahead of other customers to help me get the vehicle and on the road for the 2200 mile trip home.. side note:It made it. Thanks guys

Installed a receiver/hitch. Fair price, easy and efficient scheduling. Car was ready when promised. Offered WiFi in the waiting area to get work done.

Shaw's repaired the heat in my son's car & it's working great!
Shaw repaired an air conditioning leak and replaced my front struts and rear shocks. I bought the car used so now it’s riding better than ever and ac is working great. I thought it would take all day but it was ready by early afternoon. Well done.Services: Air conditioning, Steering & suspension repair

Shaw’s Auto is second to none when it comes to servicing my 2010 RAV4. I had an accident last year; no body damage, but Steve replaced the entire front end and it purrs like a kitten. I don’t trust anyone but Shaws to service my car.
I brought my car in for the full synthetic special they advertised online.. Overall the communication could have been better but my car is running good & they got me out the door fast.. About 30mins so it was a good experience(:
I'm new to town and I picked the best place in ohio to get my car serviced. The staff is very friendly and the pricing was amazing. If you want great service with above and beyond professionalism, then go to shaw auto care. They even checked in with me at a later date to make sure my car was still running well.
The transmission in my 2000 CR-V died on the turnpike on a Sunday 700miles from home. Usually this would be a good opening line in a Horror movie but Steve and the guys at Shaws all put on their super hero suits and saved us. What was nearly worst case scenario turned in to a nice rest stop and getting to meet fabulous people. Can’t thank them enough for getting us back on the road!
Disappointing workmanship, poor customer service, and over-inflated repair quotes.I’ve been waiting over a month to hear back from the owner on two failed attempts at replacing the AC compressor.This has put me in a awkward position that I’ve never been in before. I’ve never had a mechanic fail to properly fix something once, let alone twice.I asked for a refund, or at least have the owner call me. At this point, I’ve been given zero explanation of the breakdown of why this is happening. Every time I call they just rushed say “bring it back, we’ll order another one.” Why should I bring it back if they keep not fixing it?To make matters worse, before their ac repairs failed me and they were still in my good graces, I asked them to inspect my wheel bearings and suspension because I was hearing a noise. I was emailed a $2,700 estimate to replace all four wheel bearings (12 hrs labor). After a hard pass, I proceeded to get two more quotes from two trusted shops. Both came back at $1800 with 6-8 hours of labor, same work.I tried giving Shaw a chance, because finding a trusted local mechanic is genuinely challenging. So, I emailed the owner and asked why their wheel bearing quote was so much higher. His response boiled down to “we pride ourselves in our work” and, “essentially, times are tough.”Additionally, it’s been incredibly insulting to have left multiple messages with multiple office staff and being told each time the owner will call you back when he gets in today. It’s an abysmal service point to wonder, is the message not being cared to be delivered? Or, is it not being cared to be returned?Given my personal experience there, I’m not sure where the quality work is to take pride in or, how times will be getting any less tough if you’re taking people’s money and not properly fixing people’s vehicles.
