I took my truck there to have it diagnosed and they do call me to say that it was the distributor. I with confidence told them to fix it and they charged me about 400 for the part itself. and about 200 for diagnose. Okay so when the car was ready for pick up I was very confident that my truck was going to work smoothly. But as soon as I got to the highway, the truck didn't even raise higher than 50 mph speed. I took it back the next day. And they said that it was the timing belt and it might be a 50/50 chance that the motor might work or not. They came up to 4000 in estimate to put a new motor. Well when i went back to pick up my truck, they had put the old distributor back and took out the new one and gave me 400 back. The reason " It was the right thing to do". Yeah right. The girl in front desk even told my daughter that if I was going to get the timing belt fixed that the truck needed a new distributor. So my daughter asked her: why did you take the new one out if it still needs it. and the lady's response was "It was the right thing to do". That is not a reasonable answer. Anyways I took my truck to someone else and got it fixed for less than 400 and now it works perfectly.

Trust worthy shop with great people. Was told by a dealership, we needed an expensive part because of a massive leak. Took the car to Spencer's for a second opinion. They informed us there was no leak and no need for an expensive repair with no charge for the diagnosis. Thanks for saving us money!

took my dodge truck in for a/c work...not blowing cold and not blowing out of selected vents. they had to pull the dash to fix the issues, only to find out that there was still another small issue. so now they were gonna have to pull the dash again and figure out what was going on...well, it was a weak actuator and another blend door issue. now my a/c blows cold and out of the correct vents I select. great service, great work and I will not hesitate to take my truck back to this small home town repair shop that I feel truly is there to help you get back on the road again with assurance of a job done right! thanx guys!

Great place! They are honest and do a professional job for a fair price. They truly care about their customers and care about this community. I have always gotten superior service and they are quick. They can do everything from the simple oil change to major repairs. Give them a try much more pleasant experience than going to some larger chain store where you can't trust who might be working on your car.

Good local people who I trust to do thing honestly. They have excellent workmanship and follow through. They have a variety of services from basic oil changes to detailed repairs. When I first moved to Krum I didn't know they were there but was referred by a friend and feel lucky to have them looking out for my car repairs. They work hard to set up specials and help out with the community. They live and work in Krum and do a lot for the community which means a lot to me. If you want superior professional service then give them a try.

i had my truck towed in because of low oil pressure. $89.89 later i got a labor bill stating "oil pressure low-engine damage is likely already done- recommend replacing engine." i went home upset because i need my truck to get to work. Spencer's called me about an hour later and said for another $300 they would drop the oil pan to diagnose the problem "for certain."i am not rich $389.89 is a lot of money. i googled directions for dropping the oil pan. i cleaned it. put in new oil and a new oil filter. $28.00 at Walmart. and my truck is running fine.

Great group of folks. This is type of shop we all grew up with, great to not have to deal with some corporate giant in this era of all talk and no action (dealerships).
