I have been coming to Matthews Auto for several years. They have been efficient in service and helpful with knowledge of what needed to be done, or did not need to be done. There was always someone at the desk to begin the servicing procedure and then a good outcome on service.

Although a mistake was made with an ordered part, that was more than compensated for by their success in solving the problem without replacing anything, thus saving us money!

I was trading my truck. I called and they fit me in the next morning to change over my winter tires to my regular tires. Had it done by 11 am so I could go get my new truck. Then they even got my husbands truck in for an oil change while I was picking mine up! They are a Great bunch of guys there. Highly recommend them!

Matthews Auto always takes excellent care of my cars. They back up their services 100% and I never have to worry. I have never been charged unknown fees and I am always consulted before extra work is done. I will always choose Matthews as my auto service shop.

Don't That's pretty much all--just---don't. We have had a few bad issues with this place and so have many of our neighbors---we took a car there for a timing belt and the belt broke within a few miles and destroyed the engine and Matthews refused to even LOOK at the thing and refused to repair it. Also tried to tell me I needed hundreds of dollars of work to pass inspect when I needed a small under $100 repair ---and tried to tell me that my car needed new parts that it turned out the kind of car did NOT EVEN HAVE. A neighbor was told her car was NOT REPAIRABLE and that he would "Take it off her hands" and how unsafe it was and it should go to the crusher. OF course the woman (older person) was swayed by this and walked away from the dangerous unfixable car--only to see it sitting out front a few days later with a FOR SALE sign on it! He also took apart the entire brake system of a relatives car and THEN called and gave an estimate which was HUNDREDS of dollars MORE than it should have been--this should have been something easy to see and estimate BEFORE all of the lines etc were removed from the car! With a newer low mileage car the lines did NOT need to be removed --the brakes needed routine pads etc. We went and looked and discovered this AFTER our relative called---too bad we did not get a call before hand. Takes advantage of older people who can't do their own work or may not know what he is talking about with newer systems. Avoid.
