Had shamrock do a pre-purchase inspection on a used 2013 bmw x5 i was buying in nc. They were kind to me on the phone initially, but then rude to the dealer who dropped off the car. Then their report said they checked the oil with a dipstick and it needed changing, but this x5 has no dipstick. We asked how they checked it, no answer. I bought the car and had it delivered. A running light was out, a sensor was faulty, and the wipers blades were junk. No huge issues and not overly expensive, but ALL should have been caught for sure. So I called to politely speak with them about it, and they had a manager call me back who just spoke over me and did not listen. They said the dealer should have replaced all these things and to call them. I said "ok but what is the purpose of a pre-purchase inspection then" ? I got no good answer. Thankfully the dealer was very fair and normal, said to get these items fixed in my home state, then we will review the costs and decide how to split it up. No problem, not a huge expense, but I did not appreciate Shamrock's attitude about it just being someone else's problem and issue, when they definitely should have caught ALL these simple things in a routine inspection. You don't even need to be a mechanic to catch all of them. Never mind Shamrock didn't even note in their report that the screen inside the car was all messed up, scratched, and very distorted. Again, luckily the dealer had already pointed it out to me, so I got a discount off the initial purchase based on replacement ($250 installed) and I will get that replaced when I have time.
Shamrock Auto Care has been working on my vehicle for over a year now and I cannot say enough great things about them! They don't try to upsell you or do things that are unnecessary. They are honest and upfront! Chris always checks in after my service to make sure I was satisfied and Candace is always so helpful and makes it an awesome experience. Highly Recommend
Great Customer Service was the first thing I noticed. Candace was very pleasant and helpful when I walked in to inquire about services for my Jeep. The actual service was completed when she said it would be and the pricing on those services were reasonable. I followed up with an Inspection with then the following week and will be using their Auto Care Center for some more work very soon.

I appreciate the honesty that I get when needing service on my vehicle. I feel that Chris is always very honest with me and does not try to sell me some service I do not need. I can get my vehicle in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for quality service.

Brought my car to Shamrock Auto Care based on a friend's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did! Got new front brakes and rotors, and an oil change. I finally found a trustworthy shop that does excellent work for a good price. The owner Chris even reached out to me a couple of days later to make sure the work on my car went well! Wow, you don't see that nowadays! I will be bringing my car to Shamrock Auto Care for all of my future repairs, because I can trust my vehicle is in good hands!Services: Brakes, Oil change

They serviced my shifter. I called a Jeep dealership and it was going to be 300.00 to just pull my car into the bay. So I called Shamrock they were able to get me in within a couple of days and they didn't charge me until they knew what was wrong with my car. Very reasonable price for what they did. The employees were very nice and very knowledgeable of the problem. So I will be going back because I feel like I got my money's worth's and wasn't taken advantage of. Thank you Shamrock Automotive!
Friendly, prompt & professional service. I did not have an appointment and was in and out in 30 minutes. I will definitely use this location for future repairs.

Appointments are relatively easy to schedule so even last minute appointments --the kind where I say "oops I'm going out of town next week and should have my car looked over so I don't require require roadside assistance" are usually available! We are impressed with the high level of customer service. If you are looking for an honest mechanic this is the place.

The service there is excellent and I never have to take the car back because it wasn't fixed right. I give them 5 stars.
