Car broke down on my trip through Little Rock. I call AAA which I just got a few weeks ago. Tow truck comes and they offer to tow it to one of their partner auto repair centers where I'll get a "good deal" and am assured of being treated fairly with a percentage off. I don't know who has been writing the reviews for this place but they are a complete ripoff joint! They tried to charge me $795 to replace my starter and one headlight! I argued with them about this because I already knew the starter was bad and I know about cars and pricing which I told this guy in the very beginning of our conversation and they have some nerve to try to pull this! I ended up buying my own starter for $129 and bringing it to them and then charging me $420 to put it in and supposedly change an exhaust manifold gasket. So it went from $795 to $420 for replacing the starter only with me buying the part for $129. Wow...OK. This is Little Rock, Arkansas...I live in the Northeast in NYC and Philly...you know, where you would think it would be even more expensive...they were going to charge me $400 to replace my starter there. That included everything! So much for the assured fair pricing and percentage off due to my being a AAA customer! I complained to AAA as well because they are basically representing for them and saying this is OK behavior! AAA said to me: "Well, they can charge whatever they want to charge." WHAT?!?! So it is just perfectly fine and OK for them to rip people off who don't know any better! Glad I'm not some little old lady who knows nothing about cars! But you know...I paid for it because I wasn't going to take an Uber back to their shop and sit around and wait for another tow truck to tow me somewhere else to start all over again with this nonsense! So I got taken advantage of and I know it and I paid too much! Funny enough...several local people from Little Rock, including the guy who sold me the starter at AutoZone and one of my Uber drivers both laughed/scoffed and knew ALL about this shop when I was complaining about this amd they asked me which shop it was and told me their local reputation of being overly priced and ripping people off...so there's that... Next time I won't allow the AAA tow truck driver to just tow my car to one of their "partner" auto repair shops. I will find my one shop based upon reviews & the service I receive.

Once again, your service is reliable. I have serviced this vehicle no where else and your technicians knew everything about the vehicle. A possible mistake was made and taken care of by your mechanics. They have once given me dependable service that I have come to expect at every visit. Thank you.

Parkway Automotive would have to be one of the best businesses in the city, if not the state, to do business with. You get great service and the work performed is top notch. I highly recommend using Parkway Automotive for your vehicle maintenance and repairs.

While traveling from Louisiana to Little Rock my Ford Super Duty 2005 6.0 liter diesel it shut down about 4 times and eventually had to be towed to Parkway Auto Service. I went on line to get a service center close to where I was visiting in Little Rock and the closest was Parkway. They did a diagnostic test to determine a fuel supply problem specifically the Fuel Injector Control Module (FICM). They installed a new one and the second day I was on my way after paying a bill for a little over $1,000. On the trip back to Louisiana the truck shut down three times. My diesel mechanic did a diagnostic test. It indicated the FICM was bad. After I contacted Curtis at Parkway he and the shop foreman contacted NAPA regarding the 2 year warranty. After talking to their local rep who talked to his area supervisor they recommended that I file a claim. I called the number that they gave me and filed the claim with repair invoices showing the amount of both repair facilities. About 2 days later I received a call from NAPA headquarters in Denver that my claim had been approved. They agreed to reimburse me 75% of my original repair bill. Originally I thought the FICM was quite pricey but with a 2 year warranty it was probably worth it. Conclusion: Parkway Auto Service lived up to their word about a warranty. As an out of town broke down, I originally thought they were going to take advantage of my distress at the tune of $1,000. But it worked out to my satisfaction.

My recent service was my first experience that I have had with Parkway Automotive. While the cause of my automotive issues was not the most pleasant news that I have had in recent times...the customer service was FANTASTIC! Parkway Auto has earned my business for years to come.

I brought our Infiniti JX35 for regular maintenance as well as to check out a noise that needed attention. A.J. was our service rep., and he was nothing short of fantastic. He is personable and knowledgeable. Based on other reviews as well as getting to know the shop before I ever brought a car in, I had pretty good confidence in the work Parkway would do. But I did not expect the outstanding over-the-top customer service excellence. I do a lot of routine maintenance on my vehicles myself. And while I'm no mechanic expert, I do have a reasonable amount of basic knowledge. So, on the downside, I did feel that some of the service maintenance recommendations were unnecessary and would just drive the cost up without really adding much value. But when I pushed back on those items, I did not get a hard sell back at me which I appreciated. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I plan to use this shop exclusively for the automotive needs I can't do myself. And if you go there, ask for A.J. He's great.

It wasn't my AC that I'm talking about. My car started overheating, and then it died! But once I got it started, I drove it straight to Parkway and A.J. got it diagnosed (radiator fan wasn't working) and fixed, even though I dropped it off near the weekend without an appointment!
