Murray Auto Services for 10-15 years, his prices are affordable, they will only recommend work that you need and will let you know when its not unnecessarily needed.

My daughter hit a bump in the roadway with her VW Beetle. One of the headlights fell out of its socket. J Murray Auto Service got us in the same day I called and had it fixed in a couple hours. Great service. Highly recommend.

I brought my car in to have it looked at because the brakes were stiff on startup. They diagnosed the issue and replaced the parts very quickly and made sure I was satisfied with the work completed. Great honest mechanics that I will definitely return to in the future!

My car had been sitting unused for months because of mechanical problems. I was afraid to take it to a local shop as I'm new to South Elgin (my mechanic is in chicago). I found this shop while walking my dog and decided to look at reviews. Long story short- I would give J Murray more stars if I could. The staff is great and my car drives better than ever. The communication is amazing and they answered all of my questions. They also repaired my mom's car the same week and she's pleased as well. I'm so happy I now have a trusted local shop.
