The people here are amazing! I'm from New York City, just visiting in Concord and when the check engine light came on I was recommended to go to Garry's. They made certain it was safe for us to drive back home. Being from NYC we have a tendency to hold onto mechanics we can trust tenaciously. (Like Seinfeld couldn't trust anyone but Puddy) If ever i'm in New Hampshire again I'll go to Garry's.

My husband and I brought our used volvo of just over a year to Gary's in need of work and we were blown away by how honest and compassionate they are. We have gone through a lot this year and can't handle much more . (which they have no idea about). I was in tears...just the way they treated us and the amount of compassion that was shown to us, how they went above and beyond. They offered to help us in so many ways and I can't list them all, but I will tell you they put the well being and safety of my own family before trying to make a nickel. Cheryl and Jeff are truly genuine people! The staff was wonderful too! Definitely would recommend for anyone to go there. I think you will find you can trust them ! I do!

I have been going to Garry's for over twenty years and have always had a great experience. Volkswagen, Saab, Volvo, and Audi...I've taken them all there for expert service and repair. I trust them implicitly to keep my cars in top shape. And, their customer service is second to none. I give them the highest of ratings and recommendations.

To anyone looking for a reliable mechanic--go to Garry's Service Center. Seriously. When I first visited them I had reached out for a second opinion on what was wrong with my 2008 Mini Cooper. It was shaking, humming and felt far from normal, and I had a pretty good feeling that my tire had a hole in it. I could not afford the recommended $1075 repair that my other mechanic said would fix the problem, and so I looked to Garry's Service Center to either confirm or deny that that was the way to go. The annoying voice in the back of my head felt like it had something to do with the tires and not the frontal wheel barrier, but I know very little about cars which is why it is so important to me to trust my mechanic. Good thing I went with my gut and got Garry's mechanic's opinion. After taking my car in he told me that my left tire was about to come off and my right tire was almost flat--the main cause of the shaking I felt. Both pretty serious issues if I drive on the highway the majority of the time. So, not only did I get both of those problems fixed AND check and clean all my other tires, BUT I ALSO SAVED A TON OF MONEY! The total for my visit was $114...which left me absolutely beaming as I thanked them for all their help and left a VERY happy customer. As an added bonus, I know that they will always be there for me if my car has any issues in the future that require long term fixing. They have free rental cars readily available to ensure that I am not stuck until my car is fixed. All in all, don't keep debating which car repair company to go to, because Garry's Service Center is the place to go!

When I helped my daughter purchase a little Saab, which we know nothing about except that it needed some work, Garry's was highly recommended to do the repairs it needed. We got way more than we expected! They were so accommodating, gave me a ride to work, and had the car ready in a better than reasonable time. Everything they did was explained to me and they were very honest regarding the cars needs now and in the future. We are completely satisfied. Thanks Cheryl!! And all your team!

This is definitely the best garage in Concord. The work performed was thorough, of high quality, and the people working at the front desk actually know a lot about cars (this is rarer than you'd think). The free loaner car was clean and super fuel efficient while performing adequately; a nice little Civic I believe. There was a lot of communication with the garage throughout the day and I was given updates. My service request was very specific and I provided my own parts; all directions were followed exactly. Appropriate service recommendations were made based on the mileage of the car consistent with the manufacturer's recommendations. No up-sells or up-charges were attempted or suggested. I peaked inside the garage area from the parking lot when the bay was open; it appeared extremely clean, organized, and up-to-date.

Overall distrust. You know that feeling when you leave and then you realize, oh my gosh, I was just screwed. That's the feeling you might get if you visit this place. What kills me even more is that I know a fair amount about cars, but my level in trust in people is too high and that's where things went astray here. The reason overall why I am upset with my visit is because I told them the sole purpose of my visit was because the car was not tracking straight. (needed alignment I thought) But I had already taken it somewhere to align it twice and they agreed they'd look it over to see if there was "something preventing a good alignment." Their word, not mine. Instead, they aligned it and also tacked on more work and diagnostics without any of my approval. They assured me, "we'll take good care of you". This is my fault for not asking them how much it would cost but also their since they did not have any prior approval, even verbal from me to do anything else other than alignment "if they thought it would help" and also the diagnostic plug-in. To summarize, given the chance (and I gave them the chance) this shop uses deceptive and distracting tactics, such as quoting me $1,400 for a part of the car that does not even relate to the alignment and then distracting me from calling Bu#@ $hit on them due to the shock. I will probably call them tomorrow to see if there is something they can do - but overall people should still be warned of this place. An honest shop would have charged me for the alignment and maybe half hour's labor rate because it was only in there for a total of maybe 1.5 hours, MAX. 9AM - 10:30AM; no parts changed. That's a pretty profitable hour and a half I'd say, wow!

- hi Jeff , would like to say that if you need any auto repair that Jeff and his team of experts do a a great job i have had many foreign cars worked on at his shop and the guys here know there stuff they treat you top notch like family ! here at Garry's Service Center you are treated above and beyond recently i had the opportunity to buy my self a powerful iMac 28 " with all the goodies cause Jeff was not able to use most of his car equipment software on the apple so he go the new curve pc that is also top notch i on the other hand do a lot of photoshop and like the apple over the item base machines but there both great to use thank you so much jeff ! iknow there is only 5 star rating but i virtually rate his business and his way with people 10 + again thank you happy customer 4 life .

My car has been having some problems, I was calling around to get some guesses to what the problem could be by explaining my problems. I had to do this because it stalled on me when I was driving and I didn't want it to happen again on my way somewhere just so I could get it checked. I called here and tried to explaining what my issues were until the person on the phone had said very rudely "I don't have a crystal ball. You need to bring it in to find what was wrong." This is the only place I have had this issue. I have called a few other places to get guesses to the issue and all of them were nice and had a few guesses for me. I will not be brining my business here.

I have been bringing my 2011 Saab and 2011 GMC Yukon Xl there for about one year now. Jeff and Cheryol are both wonderful people on the business and personal level. My cars are well taken care of. They do some very expensive cars there and they do a swell splendid job. I will always continue to go there and highly recommend them. Thank you very much you guys.

Service was prompt and professional. They discussed our options without any pressure and helped us get back on the road! The courtesy cars are new and clean and made what could have been a miserable experience a carefree experience! Thanks Cheryl, Jeff and all the Technicians for your service.

They are awesome! They fit me in short notice for an inspection and even picked up the car at my office. SO convenient! Friendly staff, too. I'll be recommending them to all of my friends.

I have been using Garry's since I began driving, They definitely have a life long customer out of me. Quality work, in a short amount of time. They will Seriously do everything they can to work with you. very hard to find now-a-days. I highly recommend Garry's to everyone who needs car service.

What a great experience! I was visiting NH from NY because my mother, who lives in NH, had fallen, broke her hip, and needed surgery. The day I planned to leave it was raining out and, of all times, my windshield wipers stopped working! It was hard enough to go the 2 miles to the hospital from where I was staying. I didn't know how I'd ever get home for work. I called Garrys and they understood my dilemma without hesitation. I brought my car in, they gave me a loaner car, and they fixed my car while I visited my mother in the hospital. The man and woman at the desk were so friendly and understanding. They turned an already stressful time, and what could have been a miserable and potentially dangerous day, into a wonderful customer service experience! Thank you to them and to everyone in the back working on the cars...especially my car! You made my day!!

We have been consistently pleased with the high quality, personal service that we have experienced at Garry's for many, many years. Our SAABs, mini-vans, trailers and Hybrid Lexus' (for the past 8 years) all have gotten excellent attention. Jeff and Cheryl and the entire crew have become more like friends....but when it comes to getting the job done right, at reasonable costs, touching every base in customer service, Garry's can't be beat.

If you have a European car, go to Garry's as you won't regret it. These people know exactly what they are doing. The service is professional and the people there are extremely helpful. The shop is very clean. I will definitely choose to maintain my Audi A6 there.

Let's face it, some of us just aren't car people. That said, not all car people are fair. It can be confusing. In my case, I was on the hunt for a good quality used car that wouldn't break the bank. Jeff (who I think is like the new Garry) went so far out of his way to help me in this process, that I thought maybe I was getting filmed on some type of happy reality car TV show. Relying on Garry's to complete the pre-purchase inspections was totally the best $50 I could have spent. In total, it saved me from overpaying for two different cars by over three thousand dollars. These folks are trustworthy and competent - both traits that you want when it comes to cars. Particularly when you don't really know what you're doing. And, they're patient and fair too which is an added plus.

The people who work at the shop are great! They showed me exactly what is wrong with my car and explained to me what needs to be fixed now and what can wait. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get specialized service from a great group of people. REALLY great service.

I am so grateful to have found a mechanic that I can trust. I have been bringing my car there for over a year now, and am very happy with all that they've done. The entire staff are genuinely kind, and compassionate. My car has had several issues in the past year, and they have fixed the problems and been very fair about the price, and repaired it quickly too. I highly recommend Garry's.
