I'll keep it simple. I brought my truck there to have them investigate a coolant leak. After their $89 "diagnostic" they said my radiator needed to be replaced. The price tag: $1090. I took the same truck to Merril's Radiator Service the next day, and they determined the leak was due to a faulty hose clamp. Price tag: $58. The folks at Garry's are either incompetent, or crooked -- two qualities that don't mix well in business. Everyone I know will be aware of my experience.

We first moved to the area 8 years ago and took our car to the local dealer. As well as being expensive the results weren't impressive. Then we found Garry's Service Center; convenient, offered us a loaner and friendly but most important, they did the job they said they were going to do at the cost they estimated and in a timely fashion. They have new owners since I first came here and they've added new services as well as a very welcome waiting area. How many garages do you know where they greet you by name even if you're only coming in for an oil change? We own slightly higher end cars but I've seen all makes, foreign and domestic on their lot. Highly recommended.

I love taking my vehicle to Garry's! The staff are polite and well-trained, they return your calls when they say they will, and they are honest. I feel like I can trust them with anything! They have wonderfully comfortable waiting room which even has toys, drinks and snacks. Thank you to Garry's for making auto repairs less miserable!

I recently had a great experience with Garry's that I wanted to share. I own an Audi A4 that I have had serviced at Garry's for oil changes and tires before. I was away on vacation last week and there was something noticeably wrong with the transmission of my car. I called Garry's and spoke with Jeff the owner, and he advised me to not drive the car if at all possible and to have it looked at right away. I could have had it towed somewhere locally, but I had it towed from Rye to Concord so they could look at it. They had a loaner waiting for me, told me they'd call with an update as soon as they could, and I was on my way. I received a call from the owner a few days later and he advised me that the problem they discovered was a pricey one, requiring a $2300 part plus labor. He suggested I bring the car to an Audi dealer to have it officially diagnosed, and to see if they might be able to help cover some of the costs even though it was 3 months of out of warranty. I followed their advice and called my Audi dealer. The owner drove my car there and spoke with the service manager at the dealership. The next day I got a call from Audi - it turns out that not only was Garry's diagnosis right on, but Audi agreed to cover the cost of the repair, which would have cost upwards of $4000. Garry's could have easily done the work and charged me a lot of money, but instead they were honest and did what was best for me. I have never had such a positive experience with a shop before. Garry's saved me a ton of money and I couldn't recommend them more.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. A previous shop had done some shoddy work and Garry's took care of me and at a reasonable price. It was close to the end of the day and they still took my vehicle in. They also had a free loaner vehicle for me to use while mine was being repaired. If I am ever in the NH area again and need any vehicle work done, I will not hesitate to patronize Garry's again.

They also had a free loaner vehicle for me to use while mine was being repaired. If I am ever in the NH area again and need any vehicle work done, I will not hesitate to patronize Garry's again.

My experience at Garry's was excellent. I went one morning before work, and I was on a serious time crunch. I needed a tire swap and an alignment, and I needed to leave in an hour. All the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they took care of my car in less than an hour. They put two employees to work on my car to get it finished as soon as possible, they took it for a test drive around the block, and they even vacuumed my carpets with time to spare. The waiting lounge was clean with comfortable couches and WiFi, and the price was extremely reasonable. They even let me know that if I need to borrow a loaner car, they have several available if you reserve one ahead of time. They also have a shuttle that goes into downtown Concord. This was my first time bringing my car to Garry's, and I'm recommending it to all my friends. This is a standup place with honest, talented mechanics. I would trust them with my car anytime.

I went to Garry's based on a solid recommendation from close friends. With the car at 137,000 and with a recent change at the dealership, my goal was to get a complete review of the vehicle and decide if my ongoing service would have "a new home". I was very pleased with the initial discussion and thorough walk through of all details regarding the repairs completed combined with the presentation of options for "repair now" or "watch on repeat visits". Getting the car back cleaned inside and out was an unexpected bonus. My ongoing service has found a new home.

Overall distrust. You know that feeling when you leave and then you realize, oh my gosh, I was just screwed. That's the feeling you might get if you visit this place. What kills me even more is that I know a fair amount about cars, but my level in trust in people is too high and that's where things went astray here. The reason overall why I am upset with my visit is because I told them the sole purpose of my visit was because the car was not tracking straight. (needed alignment I thought) But I had already taken it somewhere to align it twice and they agreed they'd look it over to see if there was "something preventing a good alignment." Their word, not mine. Instead, they aligned it and also tacked on more work and diagnostics without any of my approval. They assured me, "we'll take good care of you". This is my fault for not asking them how much it would cost but also their since they did not have any prior approval, even verbal from me to do anything else other than alignment "if they thought it would help" and also the diagnostic plug-in. To summarize, given the chance (and I gave them the chance) this shop uses deceptive and distracting tactics, such as quoting me $1,400 for a part of the car that does not even relate to the alignment and then distracting me from calling Bu#@ $hit on them due to the shock. I will probably call them tomorrow to see if there is something they can do - but overall people should still be warned of this place. An honest shop would have charged me for the alignment and maybe half hour's labor rate because it was only in there for a total of maybe 1.5 hours, MAX. 9AM - 10:30AM; no parts changed. That's a pretty profitable hour and a half I'd say, wow!

My car has been having some problems, I was calling around to get some guesses to what the problem could be by explaining my problems. I had to do this because it stalled on me when I was driving and I didn't want it to happen again on my way somewhere just so I could get it checked. I called here and tried to explaining what my issues were until the person on the phone had said very rudely "I don't have a crystal ball. You need to bring it in to find what was wrong." This is the only place I have had this issue. I have called a few other places to get guesses to the issue and all of them were nice and had a few guesses for me. I will not be brining my business here.
