John, Clint and team have done a great job with my two cars! I had been using Tires Plus for over almost 10 years and feel that Hometown AUto does better work and at a better price.
I went out to go to work and my car wouldn’t start. My husband was able to jump it so we knew it was a battery issue. Called Hometown auto and they had my car in within 15 minutes! They even had a loaner car available so I could get to work. I even made it on time to work because of their quick service. I will always use Hometown Auto!
Hats off to Todd, Pat, and the team at Hometown Auto. They provided some good recommendations, a comprehensive quote, kept me informed of progress, and turned everything around the same day. Picking my now safer vehicle up, the only surprise was that the bill came in a little less than what they'd estimated. Happy to recommend top notch service like this to anyone.

After many poor experiences with other local auto shops I finally feel like I've found a place that has exceptional customer service, does quality work, and genuinely cares about the customer. My first visit to Home Town was driven by a check engine light turn and a dreaded "clicking" in the engine.. when I mentioned I have a lifetime power train warranty on my vehicle the guys at the shop were INCREDIBLE about getting a claim set up, getting the issue diagnosed, getting repairs approved by the warranty company, and getting the fix done. I got frequent, detailed status updates and Clint was really wonderful about taking the time to explain the problem to me and talk me through the work going on with the warranty company. I have never received customer service like that before and I am incredibly grateful for the work they did and the way I was treated. This could have been a horrendous experience for me just based on the issues with the vehicle, but it wasn't.. they did such a great job and I will not be taking my vehicle anywhere else again!
This is my second time using HomeTown Auto. They provide good service at competitive prices and are friendly. They seem to care about results as evidenced by their follow-up which is appreciated. My vehicles are aging and will need regular maintenance as time goes on. I will definitely keep HomeTown in mind for future service.
Took my car here for the first time and it was such a good experience! Shop right now is contactless but I STILL felt like I got taken care of super well. I was able to drop off my car and have everything done to it and pick it up same day! Felt like they truly did care about the service they were doing for me vs. just another car in their shop. Great first impression and experience!
These folks are the absolute best. I go out of my way to take my car here because they are always so kind and professional. I trust their knowledge and know they are never trying to sell me on anything. They always have a loaner car available if needed and their costumer service is excellent. They even texted me a few days after my service to make sure everything was running alright. The best!

I have a 2011 Traverse and has then replace all the struts, rotors, brake pads and do a chemical flush on all fluids. I also had them repair an A/C leak. They had a loaner car available and did the work as promised. Pricing was about 20% lower than the previous garage I have worked with even. Friendly staff and excellent work ethics.Larry
Hometown auto is the only place I take my 2001 geo prizm. They have kept my old buggy running smoothly and they are the only place I will take my car. Honest, friendly, and always ready to help. They can't be beat for superior workmanship and honesty.
Jon and Clint Spohn have been my family’s mechanics for 10+ years and through many vehicles. It doesn’t matter when I call them or stop by with a problem, they always work me in and get the job done in a timely manner. I was very excited when I heard they were taking over ‘HomeTown Auto’ in Lakeville, MN because they always give back to the community. In just a short time, they have already hosted fundraisers for kids in need where if you get your car fixed on a specific day, all proceeds earned will be donated directly to the family of the kids to help out. They are honest, trustworthy and do amazing work. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know.

Clint, Pat and crew were amazing!!!We were on the road heading to CO when I stupidly put unleaded fuel into my diesel truck.I can not tell you what a great group of guys work at Hometown Auto! They took my wife and I in, kept us fully informed of what the status, they were kind and just great to talk to.Our truck was fixed and we were on the road by the end of the day.They were fantastic! I had to take my car in to get fixed because it wasn't starting. They fixed it in just a couple days. There was more work that they could have done and charged me for, but only did what I asked.
I was very pleased with the honesty and service provided at Hometown auto. I thought my car was in need of expensive repair but was pleasently surprised to find it was not necessary. The new owners are earning the wonderful reputation Hometwon Auto has long ago established! Keep up the great work!!
I’ve had numerous repairs done on my 2011 Jeep. They make the process completely seamless and stress free.They even go out of their way to reach out to the 3rd Party Warranty to discuss what can/can’t be covered for you...absolutely awesome.On top of all of that...they provide a free loaner so you aren’t without a vehicle. From someone who knows very little about vehicles, I couldn’t recommend them more. Family has done business with them for years, that will not change. A++
Brought my car into Home Town Auto for an oil change. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. They called me when my car was ready and informed me of a problem with my car that needed my attention. There was no pressure to have them perform any other work on my car which I have experienced in the past from other auto service shops. I would recommend them to friends.

Went here because I was stupid and backed out too quickly making a clean break with my drivers side mirror. I was so sad and thought it would cost a lot. I was panicked and was putting off getting it fixed anywhere. My dad said well there's this really good place called home town auto I'll make an appointment and take care of everything. But the mirror might not be the color of your car. I was like ugh okay. Went and the guy took a look at my mirror, and said they had found a red mirror! He said it would be there by Wednesday, it was a Monday at the time. Wednesday was my appointment at 1, and the mirror still hadn't shipped so they gave me a loaner car and said they would call when it was fixed. They said it would be fixed the same day and I was so worried it wouldn't be. They called me within 2 1/2 hours of dropping off my car and it was done! The mirror looked good as new! And it was $225 which isn't bad for a mirror, and service. They were also really nice. I trust them and will be going back. I don't trust most auto service places but they were very nice and the prices were good.
