Got a call saying my vehicle was ready and when I arrived it was not. I then proceeded to grab a few things out of the back of my van that I would need for work the next day because it’s a work vehicle. When I opened my van a lot of my parts and tools were thrown everywhere. The tech that test drove my van must’ve taken corners at a very high rate of speed and been slamming on the brakes during the test drive. I drive the vehicle everyday and have never had an issue with parts and tools being thrown around. Would not recommend
They looked over my vehicle and sent me a list of the problem areas in order of importance along with pricing to service each item. Also explained to me in detail what was was wrong, and why it causes the symptom the vehicle was exhibiting. I appreciate the good communication and trust their judgment. They've done a great job with my vehicles, highly recommended.
I've been coming to Real Pro for roughly 8 years or so now. Recently moved ~3 hours away and still make the trip to have my car serviced by them; they're worth it! Their staff is knowledgeable and kind and always do great work.
New to the neighborhood, so I had reservations about trying a new garage. I can gladly say that they will continue to receive my business. My repairs were done in a very timely manner, and all of the staff was incredibly polite. I felt very well taken care of.

They got me in on time and completed the work ahead of schedule while I was waiting. The price is fair and the customer service is is good. They didn’t try to do any unesscesary work. Thank you Real ProI like the service. They get got me in on short notice and did a good job on fixing my car. I also like the fair price they charged for the work.
The staff is great. I went in just for a check on my brakes. They found several issues and I felt like they were honest and transparent with what needed done. They weren't pushy trying to sell extra stuff and explained what was wrong simply. Got everything done in a day and at a reasonable price. Will definitely use them again if I need work done.
We had a lot going on with a pretty old vehicle. Not only did Real Pro get our issues taken care of quickly, but they also made some recommendations on other needed services without pressuring me to get it all done at once. We were so pleased with them that my husband decided to drop his car off with them the day I picked mine up!
I have a Jeep Renegade and about a month ago I heard some bumping noise when my tires would hit a pot hole or turn into driveways so I looked up repair shops. I found Real Pro Auto had the best reviews so I made an appointment which turned out to be a great decision. They gave it an inspection and sent a link to me showing the quality of life my Jeep had which is always great to know. This was one of my best experiences because they were very honest about what I needed done and didn’t push me into getting anything I didn’t need right now. Found out what it was and told me it’s not a safety issue and that it wouldn’t be a problem driving it for a while if I wanted to wait. Very honest and friendly. I’m relieved that I found Real Pro Auto and it will definitely be my repair shop for the future!

Went to real pro auto for drive shaft problems. Got my car the next day, new drive shaft. List of other things that could be fixed sooner rather than later but didn’t feel pressured to do it immediately. Reasonable price. Also had a AAA discount on all labor.

The best shop I have used. They are fair and honest. I have been to dozens of shops in the GR area, and Real Pro is now my go to shop. They are nice, knowledgeable, and fair priced.

I use these folks any time that I have a service need because of how effective they are and diagnosing and the repair itself. Even better is that I always am provided practical options toward my solution. Don't ever feel that I am being taken advantage of, but treated rather as a customer should be treated. 5 stars instantly to this team!
Great experience all around! A+ customer service. Fair prices. The staff are willing to talk with you and not "down to you". Clean waiting area (no wi-fi just a heads up). They were able to get the repair done in a timely manner and it is holding up just fine. Would definitely recommend.

So this whole scenario of how I learned of these guys is through my work, I drive a company vehicle around and we always take our vehicles here. Now I used to be a diy guy since I was a diesel mechanic but with work and 2 kids I don’t have the time to do it anymore so I figured why not try them there is a reason for my company trusting their handiwork. I had an 04 Taurus I took in for a power steering issue they quoted me for an inspection price ok cool I thought, but then they called me up 2 hours later saying my vehicle is done and recommended a replacement they showed me why and without a doubt it was. (The cradle was rusted out and about to break), so naturally I was going to pay but they didn’t take money because they didn’t fix anything. So I bought a replacement 06 Nissan Sentra I took there as well for a rumble at highway speeds and they gave me a full list of maintenance to be done in the near future and fixed the rumble I was noticing. These guys are honest and up front with their work, and the owner John reaches out to you afterwards to make sure the issues got resolved. I hear nightmare stories all the time about shady mechanics and I will always recommend these guys, they are up front about their pricing they charge a decent price for quality parts. It’s not some cheap part that will break in a week
I have used RealPro several times for jobs I either don't have time to do myself or would rather just not tackle. Their work has always been on time and within the quoted price. The work I had done, there was done, and done well. From a water pump replacement on a 6.6 Duramax Diesel to fixing a leak in the air conditioning of a 2008 Pathfinder, to name two. Everyone I have met there have been friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I might have. The people at Real Pro are just that, a Real Pro

These guys are really honest. I thought I needed a CV joint replacement, but it turns out it was a loose piece of plastic causing the clicking noise. They had a golden opportunity to rip me off, and they didn't take it. I highly recommend.

Waited a bit longer than I would have liked for my service, but considering they fit me in for an alignment and tire balance 15mins after I call, Amazing. Good Quailty allightment and tire balance at good rates.
The guys here have always been really nice! They always take the time to go through things with me, to make sure I actually understand the issues going on with my car. I’ve found them to be extremely reliable

Real Pro Auto is the first customer interaction I’ve had that I’ve felt compelled to write a positive review about. These guys are so helpful, kind, and calm. I went in, practically in tears after a really dumb “accident” on my part. Not only did they not make me feel bad for it, but they were sympathetic and curteous. I only ever had extremely professional interactions with staff. Additionally, they gave me a loaner car from the shop for FREE (just had to replace the gas I used). I don’t know much about cars and these guys take the time to explain things without losing me completely in the process. These guys are really redefining customer service AND my final total was LESS than they initially quoted me for! I’m going to need to have some work done in the future, and this is the only place I’m going to go. They’ve got a customer for life out of me! I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
I was referred to Real Pro because of their AAA partnership, and the location on Eastern in Grand Rapids is very close to my home. From the beginning, the customer service was outstanding. It was a holiday weekend when my car was dropped off, and their lot was very busy, but they still communicated often, presented options, and the diagnostic fee was very reasonable (less than $50). Though my car had severe motor damage and was not reparable, they allowed me to arrange a tow at my convenience and were not rushing me off. After the fact, the owner, John, followed up with a personal message, checking in on my experience, and offered to help with an inspection on a new/used car when I am ready to get a replacement. I highly recommend Real Pro Auto Service!
I first met John and used Real pro when he had started his first location years ago. His service was fantastic back then. It’s now many years later and my kids and I have used several of the Real Pro locations. As a business owner myself, I greatly appreciate there customer service and attention to detail. From a simple oil change to my last repair ($1260.00) . I always feel confidant in the repair and value.I would highly recommend Real Pro for any your automotive needs.
I needed needed my exhaust fixed, and the guys and Real Pro Auto did a great job. I called on a Tuesday, dropped the car off on Wednesday and picked it up fixed on Friday. They gave me options on how to tackle the fix that fit my budget and explained the pros and cons of each. The staff are really friendly in person and on the phone. They provided a free loaner car for the 2 days while mine was being worked on. I'll be a customer for life. Great experience.
