Positive: Professionalism2001 Honda Civic overheated, I had my car towed to Automotive Excellence. The staff was completely professional from the time my car arrived on the scene. Open communication, I felt a sense of honesty, time lines given were met, I was given a detailed diagnosis and didn't feel pressured. Radiator failed, caused other parts to overheat, also an oil leak was noted. Automotive Excellence sent out warped parts for repair and had me back on the road STAT. I took my car in for an oil change and was told I needed $1,400 of necessary repairs. At any other repair shop in my life I would have panicked that I was being ripped off. But my long-term experience with Automotive Excellence, the best repair place I have ever known, resulted in my not worrying for a moment. Instead, I felt only gratitude they had found needed repairs and would complete them at a fair price. You can't do better than Automotive Excellence. They also use an app to show you damaged parts and common wear on your car as well.. The mechanics and staff all greet you with a smile and ask if the can help you. The repair prices are always low and affordable. This is now my third car that I have brought to Automotive Excellence, because honesty and trust are shown at this buisness.. I received the “CV19 concierge service” this past week. They picked up my Ford and performed routine 100k mileage service. Also there was a noise coming from my AC and they found a paper in glove box stuck in vent. In addition, last year a minor leak in AC hose was found,, but labor to get to hose and fix was quite expensive and I declined. This year they found a bypass fix kit and performed and serviced AC on my 2005. Automotive Excellence returned car to my home after service, even wiping interior down. Can’t thank them enough for this and the years of excellent service on all my cars.I was driving back from Huntington to Seal and heard a “thunk” noise. Soon after the “check charging system light came on”. AE couldnt take car til Saturday and I drove to shop and my car died in their parking lot. I finally brought it by because my check engine light was on.. the services I received were an oil change and just checking the maintenance on my car to make sure everything was ok. As a female they didn’t make me feel belittled bc I didn’t know much about my car, they explained everything and I felt they had my best interest in mind. The guys are really nice. The tow truck driver Aaron gave me a ride to work that morning and we even shared a few laughs. My car is up and running like it should be. I actually ended up using automotive excellence because of the recommendation of a friend who had a good experience with them. My check engine light came on and they extremely helpful. Andrew assisted me and he went above and beyond answering questions that I had about my car as well as a few that didn't pertain to issues they were fixing. It was a Monday and I know they were busy but he never made me feel that it was a bother. One question was concerning a leak I was told I had by another shop that was over $1,000. Andrew had it looked at then called me and told me I didn't have a leak! I giving 10 stars to William and 2-3 to the first driver that showed up.
My car literally died on my way to work. Called for a tow because I was blocking someone's garage. It took 1.5 hours for the first truck to show up (busier than usual, I was told). The driver said he'd have to pull my car out by the back end in order to get the forks under my car. I asked it that would damage my car "I dunno". I told him that the person who's car was parked in front of me lived there and might be able to move it. I was told "I don't have all day". Less than stellar service.
William and and a driver showed up with a flatbed about 45 minutes later. Now I'm 3 hours late for work. WILLIAM helped me out and saved me a ton of hassle and time with his generosity. This guy deserves and raise and tons of praise. He said he is moving out of the area, but wherever he lands the people around him will benefit from his kindness. THANKS AGAIN WILLIAM!!!
