Great people. Excellent service and afordable prices. Always feel secure in my repairs here.
Professional and informative. Same day turnaround on my repair and their tow truck came to get my car within 30 minutes of my call.....no complaints.... Thx SAP !
I have had a long history with SAP Automotive. I find them to be courteous and professional . Hassle free and and above all the prices are fair..I will definitely return.
I took my car in for a rattling noise at the front expecting a ridiculous price and an all day long repair, but surprisingly half what I expected and was complete in no time. Friendly professional staff! Great service guys I will definitely recommend!
Sap and all Shawn staff give your wonderful service from the time you call and make a appointment until you leave. I recommend SAP automotive to all my friends and family and also with best prices too. I have taken all my cars for all types of service and never had to return for the same repair. You will not be disappointed !!!
Shawn and his team provide exceptional and professional service. I went there for an emergency brake repair and the SAP Automotive Team had me back on the road within 24 hours. Their exceptional service includes automotive diagnostics, estimates of repair, payment options, customer pickup and continual communication with the customer at all times. This high-level of service will permit me to be a customer with them for years to come. Thank you for your service in our community!
Awesome service! They are thorough with their assessment and honest and work with you to get the job done because they care about your safety.
I ran into a car issue after work in the area. Even though the internet said they was closed I called anyway. I talked to the owner and he was able to get me into the shop even after hours and had my car ready mid afternoon the next day. Great dependable reliable shop and they did all they could to help me. I have recommended others since and their experience was great as well. This will be the only place to do any work on my car. Thanks a lot Shawn. Great job guys!

Dead battery! I tried jumping it with a fully charged "jumper" battery. No luck. What to do? Checked YELP and found the solution.
I called S A P because of the positive customer comments.
They arrived promptly and had our car running in no time.
Thanks S A P

I recently relocated to the area and needed to find a mechanic. I travel for work so my car takes a beating. After my fair share of bad experiences my coworker recommended me to SAP Automotive. I'm not up on the "car jargon" but those guys made it easy. Honest and professional service. Definitely will be a repeat customer!
Sell u used part but charge u for new part don't honor warranty
I personally recommend this shop for anyone with trouble with their vehicles. The establishment has fair prices and honest staff.

SAP is a lifesaver, numerous time i have went there with emergencies and the staff have stopped what they were working on to assist me, they have a comfortable seating area for clients and offer great customer service and follow-up. SAP is the place fro me!!!!
Check out SAP automotive center great staff, prices and more!! You will not be disappointed for what you get. Will always take all my vehicles to SAP automotive.
I had a truly horrible experience with SAP that is still ongoing.
We needed new shocks and struts in my 2008 Mazda so we decided to take it back there for the service.
We dropped it off April 24th. After they examined the car they also suggested we replace the drivers side front axle and the lower control arms on the front and rear. We were told it should be done by the end of the day of Wednesday, April 26th. On the 26th we were told it was almost finished and they just needed to do an alignment before the end of the day.
Finally on Friday the 28th we are told its almost done (I can't recall the exact circumstances why). At the end of the day Friday we are told that the passenger side front strut was blown out of the box and they had to order another one and they would install it on Saturday.
Saturday rolls around. We decide to wait around for the car, since we have a million errands to run. We call at 12/1/2/3/4/5. No answer. Finally the owner calls us back at 5:45pm and claims he has been waiting around all day for the part and it didn't arrive. Interesting that he was waiting around all day and managed to miss our phone calls for nearly 6 hours.
Monday comes - part arrives at end of the day
Tuesday comes - part installed but suddenly found out that another part needed to be replaced. So that's another $250.
Wednesday - waiting on next part to arrive
Thursday - they get the part late in the day
Friday - car is done. We go to pick it up and surprise the only thing they didn't charge labor on is the mystery part that they just noticed on Tuesday.
We drive the car, it seems okay initially but after a couple weeks we start to notice noises again. Not being car people, we assume this is just because it's an old car and since SAP did all that work it should be fine.
Fast forward to 6/18 we are driving a couple hours from Baltimore and suddenly the car begins jerking and AT lights are coming on. We get to the Glen Burnie area and are scared to drive it any further, so we had it towed for free by AAA to a nearby mechanic.
The primary problem with the car turned out to be the Transmission Control Unit which I am not holding SAP responsible for in any way. What did happen is when they went to diagnose this is they called me and asked "Have you had recent repair work done? The frontend of this car is a mess, we've never seen anything like that." - after that they gave me a list of all the issues they came across that SAP had caused (they are the only ones who have ever done any frontend work to my car).
1) When they installed the new struts, they used two different brands. One high quality, one cheap. The cheap one already blew out in a little over a month.
2) The axle had the incorrect and unsafe bolt used to install it, and the axle may be the incorrect one for my car (sleeve was stretched beyond normal).
3) The driver's side axle seal was busted and leaking transmission fluid
4) There were missing pins on both outer tie rod ends
5) The axle boot had been torn on the passenger side, causing grease to shoot all over the inside of the car.
6) The steering knuckle had damage caused by a torch on the passenger side.
7) There was damage to the bearing mount on the passenger side axle.
8) They said the alignment was way off (SAP did an alignment as part of the work)
After reading the list above, any reasonable person would understand that I would never in a million years let SAP touch my car again.
So I reached out to them and attempted to resolve this. In the initial reply, Shawn Price the owner outright lied about their responsibility and I had to go back to the other mechanic to confirm this.
I replied multiple times letting them know we would never be comfortable having them touch our car again after the butcher job they did and their follow up emails were generic and impersonal.
Total costs:
SAP's work: $2500
Repair work done by the other mechanics: $1,942
Rental car for 2 weeks: $550
Avoid like the plague. Shady, poor communicators and horrible mechanics. Don't make my mistake.
One of the belts snapped on my car and I was stranded. So I went to Yelp, sorted for the *most* reviews then chose the company that had the highest rating. They didn't answer the phone lol. Then I chose SAP, which had the second highest rating. A friendly, upbeat young lady answered the phone, and things just went up from there. Had my car towed to the shop and had one of the best mechanic shop experiences I've had since I've been driving.
I'm not from Baltimore, I know nothing about cars, and I'm always super worried that a mechanic will overcharge me. So, before I got towed to SAP, I got an unbiased mechanic to take a look and tell me how much I should expect to pay. And much to my delight, SAP was exactly within that price point! What a relief!
Besides that, the customer service was superb, everyone was super nice. You can tell they enjoy working at SAP, and they really enjoy working with each other. Also, they send text alerts and updates for the work, which is a cool service.
I have officially found my go to mechanic in Baltimore. Thanks Yelp! And thanks SAP! :)

This is the best auto shop in town. After my car broke down I had it towed to the dealership and found out I needed my timing chain replaced which is a huge job (essentially need to take apart the entire engine to replace it). I called around desperately trying to find a more reasonable quote only to find out that most places wouldn't even do the job and the two other places that would do it told me they wouldn't be able to get to it until "next week"! SAP's quote was not only fair but they would get started working on it immediately and even towed my car from the dealership to their shop while I was at work. The service, while slower than expected/estimated by over a week (though as mentioned this is a HUGE job), was meticulous and professional. My bill understandably increased a bit because they had to tweak a few additional things but I still ended up paying over $700 less than the dealership estimate. They even billed the additional parts that weren't on my initial estimate without a markup. I have since driven my car over 300 miles and it is running smoothly! Very happy with my experience here and would certainly come back for any car issue big or small.
I work there that's why. (I know right 🐒🎉 ) I love these guys! It's easy to stand by their work.
