I have never written a negative review and it pains me to do so, But after my experience with them I feel compelled to safeguard my unsuspecting community against their unjust behavior. I brought my vehicle to them with a specific problem to fix..which was clear to see, But they insisted on charging me an inspection fee. My $489.00 repair turned into $5900.00 with the add-ons and they wouldn't fix my initial issue without performing the add-ons. I had another repair shop review their prescribed add-ons and they found them to be not necessary. Customer service.. I think not.

Do not trust these guys! every time I take my car in something else goes wrong a week later! I recently move to Wa and was nervous about finding a mechanic I could trust. Back home my family and friends had been taking our cars to the same place for 20 years. I saw the reviews on yelp and thought i would give them a try. I needed to have my cars 100k mile maintenance done. About a week or two after I got my car back, the engine started squeaking upon startup. I didn't think much of it because it was very faint- I figured it was a loose belt. Eventually it got bad enough that I took it in. My alternator needed replacing. I've never had major issues with this car and it is old, so I figured it was just a coincidence with the timing. Well I paid them to replace the alternator and a week later discovered my AC wasn't working. I took it back in and made my concerns known to the manager. This was the 2nd time I had gotten my car back and while I didn't accuse them of anything, I just wanted to be sure that I wasn't being taken advantage of. I had to bring the car in again to have it fixed. Turns out they hadn't finished the job of putting my alternator in- they left the air conditioner unplugged. I got my Jeep back last Friday and as I was driving home today my check engine light came on. I am done with this place. If you are considering using their business, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

Len's Automotive is the place I take my business to, I have had no problems when I take my truck in, they are very clear about what needs to be done and they are quite efficient with time, especially when I need small fixes. Will return for future work from them.

I appreciate the good honest service when I brought my 2006 Toyota Avalon in for an oil change and learned that the power steering needed some work. The office people and service people were all most courteous and kind, I appreciated the rides to and from my home from the courteous driver.

I didn't pass the emissions test with an evap problem on an older car. I checked as much of the evap system I could. Len's did a diagnosis on the system so I could get a waiver to get my tabs. The cost to fix it would have been half the value of the car. I am planning to trade it in soon. They did the work right away (I had an appointment) and I got my tabs.

I dropped off my company car after hours, received a call early the next day. They gave me a very reasonable cost quote and as if by magic the car was ready for pick up by early afternoon that same day. The shuttle service Len's provides is very handy.

It is nice to deal with honest people at Len's. Our friends recommended we visit Len's, and we will recommend other friends do the same. If you are looking for a trustworthy, timely and practical auto service center, go to Len's!

Cons:- They "tricked" me into getting an expensive timing belt replacement when it wasn't actually needed. They or I (if I'd known better at the time) could have known beforehand by taking off just the upper timing belt cover, but that didn't happen. I do wish that they would have checked the belt before proceeding with the repair. I would have been impressed if they had stopped the work once the belt was visible to tell me it was still in good condition and asked if I really wanted to proceed. But that didn't happen either.- The cost of parts they quote is 50%, 100%, or even more expensive than what I find for replacement parts. Maybe some day I'll ask them if I can just source my own parts and just have them do the labor part.- They did 2 ultimately unsuccessful repairs for my engine misfire problem before discovering it has a head gasket problem via a coolant block test. Not sure I can really blame them for it, but that is discouraging.Pros:- Very courteous and friendly.- The work they do is professionally done.- Even when I asked for my car back without having them repair it, they kindly explained how to monitor the head gasket problem (what to look for in the coolant and oil), warned me about using stop-leak additives, and explained how the coolant block test showed that there was a problem.

As always, we were treated with respect and professionalism. Brian was super "on top" of things. He called us, laid out the options in a super-clear way. We decided to NOT sell the car with only 100K miles on a Chevy. Car works very well. Advice to fix struts, breaks and steering was superb.Feels like a new car.Price came in slightly less than estimated. As usual, we NEVER feel overcharged for the service we get at Lens. Ken, his family and all the employees run a GREAT shop that treats every customer well. I, who knows so little about the mechanics of the cars, never has to worry about whether or not someone there is taking advantage of me. Len's is one of the really honest businesses around. My husband and I have done business there for more than 25 years and recommend it to all my friends. If you want the cheapest fix, go ahead and shop around. If you want great work with absolute honesty, at a fair price, go to Lens and save yourself the hassle.Thanks.David Serkin-Poole

Start to finish I was taken care of in a friendly manor. I had no idea how to explain what was going on with my car but Bryan took the time and listened.he didn't interrupt me finishing my thought with his words. Heather took us homeand another young msn brought us back to our car. Both were very pleasant. No awkward silence. Both were safe driving too. My car works great. From my first call to this email, everything was smooth, friendly, and swift.

Excellent service. I really appreciate that they highlight future repair needs, give me a time frame when to consider having them done. there is no pressure to do everything at once unless it is critical to safety. And they let me know if there are items I can do myself.

As always, Len's provided superior service. The main thing for me is coming away with the belief that the work we agreed on was done, and done correctly, and I can just drive my car with confidence that it will last another 30k miles. I was surprised to get a next day appointment, and worried at how slow things seemed at the garage. I rely on Len's and need them to stay in business.

The folks at Len's always take care of our needs for any of our cars. Their service is fast, priced reasonably, and guaranteed. If something needs adjustment after a service, no problem, they fit you in and no charge.

I think something that makes Len's stand out is that they do a careful analysis of our cars and alert us to possible problems and commenting on the possible risk the problems may pose to us. If an item is low risk, they let us know; if it's something that really needs our attention, we also get that message clearly.The work is thorough, and if there's ever an issue, Len's works very quickly to resolve it, demonstrating integrity by their actions.

I have been bringing my car to Len's for a few years now. Always professional and quality work. You can trust them to be up front on repairs and you get to decide what you want done. I got right in after calling and work was completed in the timeframe quoted.
