After leaving the dealership with a estimate of over $2000 for two new tires and rear brakes, I took my car to elite. They charged me only $650 for two tires and said that brakes weren’t needed! They saved me a bunch of money, and I truly appreciate their honesty more than anything!
This is a trustworthy family owned business. Scheduling was convenient and you are always kept well informed of any concerns.

They did a great job on my car and shopped around for a cheaper part than originally quoted and saved me $! They also inspected my car unasked (which I didn’t know they could do and was extremely thankful for as I was past due) definitely competent and trustworthy 👍🏻☺️

I started taking our cars to Elite about a year ago. When I brought it to them this time it turned out that some work performed a while ago by another facility needed to be repaired again. Elite got to it right away without any comment.In addition, a wheel bearing that Elite had repaired a few months ago failed. There was no question about them standing by their work with the wheel bearing being covered under warranty.Sue also follows up to make sure that everything has been completed to our satisfaction. I have never had a repair shop call me to follow up. Unlike those endless surveys that we all get for everything these days, the personal touch at Elite is refreshing.I will continue to bring my automobiles to Elite because of the way they go about things.
Today I experienced the best customer service I’ve ever had, especially when it comes to motor vehicles, which are usually a headache and inconvenience. On a Friday night I had trouble with my truck tire and it was basically falling off when I was driving home, I checked the nuts and they were all fine but I’m no mechanic. I called elite and someone answered their personal phone after business hours and told me they’re closed for the weekend but a tow truck driver would come pick up my truck in the morning. So I was worried because I had to get to work on Sunday and bring my daughter somewhere on Monday morning but it seemed like I wouldn’t hear anything until monday.. TREVOR came and towed my truck on Saturday morning to bring back to elite.. he told me it might not get worked on until Monday but he would also take a look.. he diagnosed my truck, figured it out, went to the store to buy a part, fixed my truck and then called me by 2pm and told me he was dropping my truck back off to my residence and he had his own ride home.. Trevor was absolutely amazing and helped me out in a pinch with a smile on his face on a weekend.. he’s a god send and any company would be lucky to have him as an asset.. wonderful man and very hard worker.. THANK YOU TREVOR!!! After this experience I will never go to another mechanic or shop besides Elite Automotive in Byram, Nj. Thank you again Trevor, you saved my weekend! 🤙

I Just moved to the area and I have to say I'm extremely happy with the work they've done on my Jeep!They looked over my whole vehicle and only recommended the things that it actually needed, no pressure to sell me on the fixes either since they weren't urgent! Since I wanted to get those non urgent things fixed, im also happy to say that they got me in and out quickly. No crazy long wait times for parts or an appointment.If you're looking for a good mechanic with friendly staff and fair prices I would highly recommend this shop.
