I am new to the area and wanted to find a family automotive shop. It was quick, easy, and they even texted me a few days later to make sure everything was good. Glad to have found a new auto shop

I couldn't get my car started. They did diagnosis and corrected it in under 3 days. Quick service and very responsive employees. They even texted regarding how the vehicle was doing to make sure everything was OK.
Guys are very friendly, on schedule and fairly priced. I would much rather spend my money with a company like this than a nationally ran chain but please let's not have too many people go there so I can still get in and out of there in a reasonable time :-)
Hmm, I'm not sure what happened to my previous review but it was a glowing review of Herold's because they earned it. I came back to update the review with just a note on how I stopped in without an appointment for a tire rotation and they got me in and out in like 20 minutes. So still a 5 star business.Thanks again.8/11/22 - Another five star visit. Makes probably 20 in a row now.
I was leaving Ohio to go back to Indiana and broke down on 71 going south. My sister looked them up because they were close to where I was. Had my tow truck drop me off around 430pm and they closed at 5pm. Asked if it would be done today they told me no. I explained to them I was from out of town and had to be back on the road the next day to get back home for work. They opened at 730am the next day and said they would call when they were finished. By 8am they had called and said it was ready to go. No time wasted getting the job done. They understood the assignment and executed. Made me feel like I was a priority and no matter what the price that’s what matters in their business. You the customer is their number one priority. Thank you !! I’ll be back in town again this up coming week for about 2 weeks and I may stop by to have them look at a few things.
Completely hassle free quality service! These guys did a great job. Scott was able to get me new tires right away at a great price. They also did some unexpected front end repairs..they greased all my suspension and steering parts, inspected everything, and informed me on how everything was. My truck is driving better than when i bought it. I have 2 other friends that will tell you the same about their shop and mechanics… great people
Our first experience with Herold's was great, our second not so much. I thought I needed my air compressor replaced. Scott was happy to fit us in and get it taken care of but the AC was still not working. Apparently I had a leak, no one checked my car. They just replaced it. I was told I didnt ask him to look at it, I asked him to fix it so he did. I have never heard of a place taking the word of a NON mechanic, not only was it a waste of money for our family but also a loss in business for their company. If they would have looked at the car, they would see more potential business. I will not return.
Steve, Scott & Brian I can't thank you enough for taking car of my truck. A lot of work to do and they made a plan & executed it perfectly. Still stuff to do but it rides like new. Hands down the best in the area! I recently went in for an oil change. I was extremely pleased with how polite and nice all employees were, how clean the waiting area is and how fast they were! The quality of this place is above and beyond! They even gave me a print out of my tire wear and thickness for my records and to show me first hand. I highly recommend Herold family auto!
First time customer here. I called to make an appointment for an oil change and after talking to Scott I immediately had a good feeling about this place. He was polite, knowledgeable and accommodating with my very busy schedule. The service was fast and thorough. Great repair shop. They went above and beyond to get my air conditioning fixed before I went on vacation. I had it worked on two other places and they couldn't find the problem. As much integrity as used car salesmen. If you encounter an issue with a recently performed repair, they will not make any substantive attempt to make sure that it wasn't due to their negligence, other than gaslighting and using word salad to absolve them of responsibility. Don't wait until a problem arises, just avoid them to begin with.
I called a few auto shops referred by family & friends after moving from Vegas to Medina once cooler weather came on knowing I'd need antifreeze & tires. Due to being handicapped, it took a few appointment times but Herold's was kind enough …More
After shopping around I decided to have Herrold’s Auto Repair replace my rear brakes, rotors and pads. Drop off was quick and easy, Scott was very pleasant and professional to deal with and the quote was accurate. I will definitely return for additional service in the future!
My son told me his oil light had been on "for awhile", the shop was able to squeeze me in for an oil change and free tire rotation. When they found other issues they helped me determine what was critical and safety related vs. what could wait to stay within my budget. Super nice to deal with, great service!
Great service, got my car in fast and repaired AC quickly and at a reasonable cost. I was also very impressed that they contacted me the following day to make sure that everything was still good with the car. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience at Herold Family Auto. Originally had an appt for oil change, tire rotation. While there spoke to the owner about what I was feeling when breaking. He took it for a quick drive. Explained my rotors needed replaced. I decided while my tires were off to just have them do the front brakes and he also serviced my rear calipers. I had some questions about the service. Being a female I've been screwed over in the past from dishonest mechanics. Steve showed me exactly what he was going to do. Showed me all the parts of my brakes and my rear calipers. Explained in great detail the entire job. I felt at ease. Also price was right and they guarantee brake jobs for 3 years. Also was given a loner car to take home since job took about 3 hrs. Brakes feel great and I'm very pleased. Were very honest and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back for future service. Price for full synthetic oil change with tire rotation is cheapest in town.
