Be careful when they quote you on simple “extra” jobs. They charged me 150 dollars in labor alone for changing wipers and a couple air filters

I went to this place last year for an oil change and a tire swap and this is exactly how much they qouted me for "so the SERVICE is $136.07, the TIRE SWAP is $236.4, if you want the AIR FILTER it is $106.81(parts & labor) and the WIPER BLADES are $113.58 (parts and labor) all in with tax TOTAL is $668.48"!!. YOU GUYS DECIDE! If I could give this place a zero. I would.

I was there today for an inspection. Well long story they say my truck failed? Part prices are about 3 times what other places charge. Tires are not cupped or uneven . Feel like I am being played will never return

They were able to fix our alignment problem on our motorhome and gave me a ride uptown and came to pick me up when done and did a through check and provided a paper copy of the results and followed up later to make sure all was well
We had some serious car troubles on a road trip and these guys took great care of us. Would highly recommend this place for the quality of service and custome services
I was fortunate to meet Scott back in February 2022 at a community hall where I was going to the same event ,unfortunately I had a small car accident about 1 block away from the event.My vehicle was not drivable to get back to Calgary and this is how I met Scott at the hall , attending a event we both were partaking in.But we did not know each other.I was introduced to him by another stranger at the event and said Scott is a mechanic and has his own shop and will gladly help you out.Well let me tell you I was so shaken up and worried about my car, Scott told me not to worry and said I will help you out.He took full responsibility , he took my car to his shop and looked it over and had to deal with my Insurance company and tried to order parts for my vehicle and unfortunately after 2 months of dealing with my Insurance patiently and the manufacturer to try to get all the parts my car needed. Due to Covid was not able to get any parts except for a new tire .My car had to be written off sadly.However through this long ordeal of 2 months he kept my car in his lot.I just want to say what a kind honest man Scott is to have all the patients helping me with the ordeal. He truly was so sincere and caring .If had had to get my car maintained by him ,I would not hesitate doing so as he does his best to accommodate his clients in what ever situation, trustworthy and patient.Thank you Scott for all your help and kindness.I really appreciated it.

Honest Engine is a company logo and name that is a play on words that could only exist in a town like Drumheller. I will not sit on hold for 30+ minutes to be told nothing. You have an engine that is a caricature of a native American with the name "Honest Engine". I will not call your line but I will keep writing these reviews every time they disappear. It is YOUR responsibility to fix this. Not playing your game of phone tag.HONEST INJU.....I mean HONEST ENGINE. That is better.
We were heading home to Edmonton when our vintage truck started having engine trouble. We pulled into a local franchise that did not have the parts nor staff to get us on the road. They kindly referred us here saying this company was excellent and we are so grateful! The service cost was fair and we were on our way in a few hours.Very appreciative of Scott and his team's expert service!
I brought my vehicle into Honest Engine to have an out of province inspection. Scott and his team were amazing. Very knowledgeable and checked with me before every repair had to be done. He explained everything as he went along and kept me informed on all the costs. There aren't enough words to express how grateful i am for Scott and his team at Honest Auto. His name had been given to me by a Napa parts dealer in Golden, as the "go-to" guy in Drumheller. As a very stressed and tired long distance traveller, Scott was there for me and my car, bright and early on a Monday morning. My car was going through oil, upon further inspection, they found my oil pan gasket was leaking, completely overlooked by 3 other prior mechanics. He changed my oil, asked permission to change my cabin filter, did a full further inspection to ensure my car was sound for the long journey home, all for a very reasonable sum. His reassurance and the peace of mind he gave me, priceless. I forgot to mention, I was scheduled to go to the museum on the Monday morning at the time the car was in the shop. He handed me the keys to the shop van, told me to go and enjoy myself, my car would be ready upon my return. It was. This is old school, small town professionalism at it's finest.Keep up the good work Scott and team!
