Just had my VW beetle in for a smog test. As usual it was handled with the ease and expertise I expect from them! 45 minutes later and I was on my way! Thank you!

Steve the service manager great guy with excellent results.The work they do is top rated.Great place to go for regular maintenance and more detailed work. Use only for your more luxury vehicles. You get what you pay for,and that's a good deal in today's market.

I was purchasing a vehicle in SLO, but I live in LA. I had the seller drop the car off at Rizzoli’s for a pre purchase inspection. They were super easy to work with, sent a well organized report with photos, and gave me a call to go over the issues they found. If I ever need car help in SLO again, I’ll be back!

Rizzolis is the only place to take your Range Rover in SLO. They did a complete check on my engine and also told me what had been done to my engine before I owned it. The other motor company that work on Range Rovers in town didn’t even have a lift to see under my car.Rizzolis gave me a priority list of what I needed to work on first and then next. They even gave me pictures.I can’t say enough positive comments about this company. My car works like it’s brand new!100,000 miles

Rizzoli’s always does a wonderful job keeping my car running smoothly and safely. They’re friendly, attentive, prompt, and competitively priced. They explain what needs to be done in a way that’s understandable and then tell me if it’s an urgent fix or if it can wait until next time. I trust them to do right by me.

No. Just no. Keep the car all day for a simple oil change??? Recommend WHAT?????? No. It's like a super expensive place where they insist on a 60 point inspection just so they can recommend all crazy things. Like changing the differential fluid in a very new car???? No. Just no. Not going to return.

My daughters father in law Rich Schalwitz referred me to Rizzoli's and I am glad he did. I had several messages on my Mini's computer of possible items wrong with my Mini and my service represenative Isidro Barriga made note of each one, he later followed up with me and indicated those items and told me the cost to repair the items. Isisdro was very professional, thorough and freindly and stayed in touch with me through the whole repair process. After I picked it up and drove away I immediately felt the difference in my Mini, it was like having a new car again. This is a family owned and operated company and this is not something you see much anymore. The Rizzoli's are super community minded and very involved, so you can good supporting this local business. They take good care of their employees and place a huge emphasis on customer experience (which you don't often get in the auto world). Totally trust them with my cars and know that I won't get the runaround. I've had some really bad experiences with other local shops, especially dealers, so it's nice to know that there is such a great option around. Karen Rizzoli, in particular, is a leader in the SLO community and runs a tight ship. Strongly recommend!!

ALWAYS friendly, helpful, honest and the work is done on time. NEVER, in our 15-20 years of doing business with them, for 4 different MBZs have we had anything ever go wrong. I feel very confident that they know what they're doing and then, DO IT, and we're happy with the result. Honest, timely and thorough.

I've taken my minivan here for the better part of 3 years now. They've done everything from oil changes, brake service and changing out various filters. I've always been impressed with their transparency and how they've treated everyone in my family with respect and patience. So much so, that when my minivan broke down in San Jose, I towed it all the way back to SLO just to get it repaired at Rizzoli's. It was a decent project, as my radiator had to be replaced and would take about a week with having to order the part. I didn't know anyone in San Jose and knew I had confidence with Dave at Rizzoli's. So I literally got it towed about 200 miles to get it serviced here. Admittedly, it was a little bit more money, but I felt to much more confident knowing I wasn't going to get an upcharge and know the job would be done right. One year later and that same minivan is still going strong. Thanks Rizzoli, for treating us right! You have earned a customer for life.

I was in town for a short trip and needed some work done to my VW GTI. I was able to get an appointment the next day (compared to VW in Santa Maria a week later). I had some additional questions regarding transmission work and they were very helpful in explaining exactly what was needed. They were very transparent and I did not feel pressured to get anything done. I was able to delay some of the work for another time. I felt that they were very clear on what was the immediate need to get me going and what could be deferred. You hardly ever get that at a dealership. In addition, they provided a comprehensive list of everything that need to be looked at within the next 6 months so that I can get them done gradually and not get stuck with a hefty bill. I was very impressed by the work they did and how they handled all aspects of the visit. One of the best auto shops I have worked with. Highly recommend it.

I've taken my car here a few times for oil change they were great , friendly people I'm giving 4 stars as they used to do concierge service even during covid I get it but being in the medical field it's hard to make my way down there they made it easy pick up , they also used to have car wash service they made up for it by giving me a "looking good " gc for quickly car wash I will take my car there again as they gave me healthcare discount ! Thank you

I've used Rizzoli's several times and every occurrence has been a complete pleasure. They are prompt, easy to communicate with, clear in their explanations, and reasonably priced.

The only mechanic I trust with my 1987 300D MBZ. My car is the pride and joy of my daily life, reliable and oh so luxurious; so when it needs maintenance there is no question of where to take it for quality care and monitoring. Every member of the staff is professional, courteous, and kind. They even tolerate my somewhat obsessive reports of a strange cowbell noise and will take it for a test drive to ease my anxieties before long drives or after a pothole or roadkill tragedy. Steve at the front desk always has a huge smile and Luis helps me try to understand the intricacies of my engine and transmission. Karen always follows up and is a friend when making the dreaded call- my car is broken! Looking forward to the pre-pandemic perks of a courtesy driver, a car wash, and a waiting room with cookies and coffee and water. Always meet the kindest customers when I actually have a easy fix and get to hang out there for awhile.

What did I ever depend on the dealer? After years of always returning to the dealer for service I decided to give Rizzoli's a try. I'm only sorry I didn't go there sooner.

I found Rizzoli's through my AAA membership. I'm a huge fan of supporting local family owned businesses. I had the best experience and it was my first time there. They were communicative and timely. Steve, Luis and Blad thank you for the excellent customer service and making sure my car was in good shape for summer time shenanigans. I'm a fan.

Rizzoli's Automotive provided excellent service in diagnosing my engine issues during my trip from San Francisco. Izzy was very responsive in letting me know the status of my car throughout the process. I highly recommend this business.

Rip Off Artists - AVOID . Brough my van in for a simple electrical lookup (battery kept dying) and they charged me $500 to tighten the lead on the negative terminal, then proceeded to have the stones to suggest an additional 6 THOUSAND dollars in work, more than the van is worth. Some of the ideas were solid, like a new timing belt, and some were nuts like an extra 2K because the AC was a "little loud". The timing belt was quoted at nearly twice the amount of 3 other shops in town. They texted me after my service to gauge my satisfaction and the owner doubled down and said that her guys are the best in the industry and that I just can't handle the truth about the van lol. Not sure how that syncs with charging double other shops in the same town... Save your money and shop around these guys are grifters.

The best mechanics and the best customer service. I have been bringing my cars here for many years and not ever had an issue. Even with a car that could not be diagnosed elsewhere. They work on older classics as well as newer high tech vehicles. I always feel confident heading out on the road knowing their mechanics have evaluated for safety each time. They also give me a heads up on upcoming services and replacements, such as how much life is left in those brakes. I know my cars last longer because of the quality of service and attention to detail here.
