Courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, accommodating. These are just a few of the words which describe the personalities of the personnel at Rizzoli's Automotive. I could go on and on about the positive nature of this business, but since this is a survey method, I will try to be as concise with my praise. My visit to this establishment was for the purpose of obtaining a smog check. They were able to fit me in to their schedule immediately and I was impressed. I can certainly understand why this particular business has been so successful over the years. They certainly know how to provide the customer with quality service in every respect. I recommend this shop to anyone for their ultimate automotive needs, whatever type of vehicle they currently own. You will be pleased!

Went for an oil change. They checked everything and sent me a report which was great. Price is better than most and staff is super nice. Only issue I had was that it took 3 and 1/2 house to get the oil change done.
The best mechanic in SLO, hands down.After being t-boned a few months ago, I needed a trusted mechanic to assess and service my new car - this team (shoutout to Moe) has consistently gone above and beyond, both in their customer service, communication and transparency.

Any more, I may be looking for an alternative. I get tired of last minute notices that "these things should be or could be done" when I am ready to arrange to drive in another car to pick up another, only to find that the work on the first car was not completed due to the add on that the business wanted to do. It's May, I don't need to have a new windshield wiper blades replaced until the fall, when we may have rain again, as one example. The car was not finished on the day expected. I then could not deliver another car to pick up the first car and at 4 in the afternoon to have to scramble to arrange a person to drive me to pick up the car at all was annoying, and the store closes at 5. I live in Atascadero and given the distance and general traffic so late in the day, it caused a lot of unnecessary stress to two people to have to deal with the pick up when the intention originally was to swap out one car and leave another. We could not afford to leave the 2nd car to have hung up for extended time and not have it for transportation over the weekend. We couldn't be assured the 2nd car would in fact not be completed on time either. Consolation was a free car wash. What would have been better would have had the car run through the car was and cleaned before our picking it up. Rizzoli's used to be a quality customer service based company, not so much anymore.
I was offered a next day appt for an issue with my breaks. I was expected to spend hundreds, and surprise it was a non-issue and only $50.Excellent customer service from my first phone call to check out on the office. Would return for future work!

I’ve been going to Rizzoli’s for years and couldn’t recommend them more. Their customer service is unmatched. They work to ensure you have the best experience and all the knowledge about your car when making decisions. Super communicative, never a long wait to get in and most important I feel like I can trust them!

Great first experience at Rizzoli's in SLO! 60-point inspection and oil change plus wiper blades. Great consultation on the inspection, then back the next week for brake, coolant, and transmission fluids as recommended at 50,000 mile mark. I've taken my Volkswagen to them for years, so when my car died, I had it towed here. They charged $150 to diagnose that my throttle body was jamming. They wanted to charge me almost 3 times what the dealership would for the PART! I had my car towed to the dealership when they wouldn't match the dealership part price. Labor was the same price at both places. What really got to me was they're willingness to let me walk out and go to the dealership without trying to keep a long time customer.
Rizzoli staff are always professional, polite, friendly and give thorough reports of their findings. I have always been satisfied with their service.

Rizzoli’s is always incredibly helpful and accommodating to our daughter’s auto maintenance and repair needs. She attends college in San Luis Obispo, and we appreciate the fantastic communication with us, being at a distance.
Great customer friendly service, direct diagnostic to find out what was wrong with my car, unfortunately for me I needed to replace the engine and did not have enough money to do so. Thank you Brandon for being honest and not trying to tell me something else just to keep the car there, that lead me down a different alternative so I went to the dealership and traded it in for something else. If you need something from Rizzolis’s I highly recommend this place for the best friendly, honest and clean shop on the central coast.
I’ve brought both my Audi a8l, and Range Rover sport to rizzolis since I moved to the area 6 years ago. One has to find a place that knows what they’re doing when working on high end vehicles. They have never disappointed me. Steve montano is the person I usually work with there, but everyone there is great, never feel like I’m getting over charged or being told to fix things that don’t need to be repaired yet. For as long as I live in Pismo Beach, I’ll never bring my cars elsewhere for repairs.
I had a great experience with Rizzolis. My check engine light came on, and even though they are scheduling pretty far out at the moment, they fit me in that same day to scan my car and make sure I could drive it while waiting for my scheduled/more thorough appointment. This business is extremely professional and I think they have the best customer service that I have seen at any auto shop.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. They are incredibly professional and the service is excellent. I dropped my car off after it sat at British Sports for 3 weeks and they fixed it in literally an hour. The service manager (I don’t want to misspell his name, so I’ll update this later) was so freaking awesome. After one visit, I can honestly say I’ll be a lifetime customer. Highly recommend!
I’ve been taking my cars to Miller 76 for oil changes and any maintenance needed. They used to be locally owned and operated, nice small town family with warm service. They recently changed management or owners. So I tried Rizzoli’s which was recommended to me by a good friend. I called Monday morning, they scheduled me the next day at 8 am. They offered to shuttle me to work & even to pick me up in my lunch to get my car back. Lunch time came and I actually saw the shuttle drive by. He didn’t stop & after a few minutes I called the office. They tried to get a hold of the shuttle driver but his cell phone was dead. So they hailed an Uber to pick me up. He was 1 block away. I was able to be at work before my start time of 830 and picking up my car at lunch took less than 30 minutes. They send a wonderful, fully explainable link to a platform that showed and explained everything they found that needs to be worked on in the future. Once I paid and got in my car … I got a certificate for a free car wash!!!!!!! I had HIGH expectations and RIZZOLI’s blew my expectations out the window. Will definitely be going back.
These shops do great work. However, they have a policy of only using OEM parts which can make some repairs quite costly. They do keep an eye out for many maintenance activities not specifically detailed in owners manuals.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, General repairs & maintenance
