Nice customer lounge, weird getting your car back and all the controls have been moved, like a/c turned to hot, said that they took it for a test drive why,it went in for an oil change

Everyone was really nice, someone gave me a ride to and from work, and the vehicle health inspection was thorough with pictures of what needed maintenance.

I've taken my Volkswagen to them for years, so when my car died, I had it towed here. They charged $150 to diagnose that my throttle body was jamming. They wanted to charge me almost 3 times what the dealership would for the PART! I had my car towed to the dealership when they wouldn't match the dealership part price. Labor was the same price at both places. What really got to me was they're willingness to let me walk out and go to the dealership without trying to keep a long time customer.
Rizzoli staff are always professional, polite, friendly and give thorough reports of their findings. I have always been satisfied with their service.

Since rizzoli's took over Pete Morro Bay tire. Service availability is nearly non-existent. I tried to get an oil change this past Friday for Monday or Tuesday. Never a problem at Pete's. Was told I'd have to wait 2 weeks to get an oil change an oil change amazing. I have a new Subaru I called up Subaru and even though it was $120 I got a diagnostic and oil change and my tires rotated. Since I only need an oil change every 6 months I thought that was well worth it. All the way would have paid half that and rizzoli's in Morro Bay I couldn't wait I had to take a long road trip this coming Wednesday. My oil change at Subaru was same day Friday. You need to do better. I could have gotten into Pete's easily Monday or Tuesday.
Rizzoli’s is always incredibly helpful and accommodating to our daughter’s auto maintenance and repair needs. She attends college in San Luis Obispo, and we appreciate the fantastic communication with us, being at a distance.
Great customer service. And I love that they monitor all of the systems on my cars, so I know in advance things like how much I have left on my brakes. Even the last century car runs like a top. Thank you Rizzoli's!
Great customer friendly service, direct diagnostic to find out what was wrong with my car, unfortunately for me I needed to replace the engine and did not have enough money to do so. Thank you Brandon for being honest and not trying to tell me something else just to keep the car there, that lead me down a different alternative so I went to the dealership and traded it in for something else. If you need something from Rizzolis’s I highly recommend this place for the best friendly, honest and clean shop on the central coast.
We were from out of town and called at the last minute.They got us in right away. Steve was very Friendly and efficient he took care of all our needs. They were so great that we brought in another car 2 days later. Again everything was handled the same.
I’ve brought both my Audi a8l, and Range Rover sport to rizzolis since I moved to the area 6 years ago. One has to find a place that knows what they’re doing when working on high end vehicles. They have never disappointed me. Steve montano is the person I usually work with there, but everyone there is great, never feel like I’m getting over charged or being told to fix things that don’t need to be repaired yet. For as long as I live in Pismo Beach, I’ll never bring my cars elsewhere for repairs.
Julio service tech did a great job on my car and Isidro was very nice and explained what they found and what needed to be done, with no pressure. They were friendly and helpful, I will be a regular customer with Rizzolis. Thank you, Holli.
Rizzoli’s was timely and thorough and the final fee was the same as estimate. The facilities are professional and well maintained, in fact spotless. The employees are also professional while cordial and personable. This is our second visit, and we will rely on them in the future.
I had a great experience with Rizzolis. My check engine light came on, and even though they are scheduling pretty far out at the moment, they fit me in that same day to scan my car and make sure I could drive it while waiting for my scheduled/more thorough appointment. This business is extremely professional and I think they have the best customer service that I have seen at any auto shop.

The only mechanic I trust with my 1987 300D MBZ. My car is the pride and joy of my daily life, reliable and oh so luxurious; so when it needs maintenance there is no question of where to take it for quality care and monitoring. Every member of the staff is professional, courteous, and kind. They even tolerate my somewhat obsessive reports of a strange cowbell noise and will take it for a test drive to ease my anxieties before long drives or after a pothole or roadkill tragedy. Steve at the front desk always has a huge smile and Luis helps me try to understand the intricacies of my engine and transmission. Karen always follows up and is a friend when making the dreaded call- my car is broken! Looking forward to the pre-pandemic perks of a courtesy driver, a car wash, and a waiting room with cookies and coffee and water. Always meet the kindest customers when I actually have a easy fix and get to hang out there for awhile.

My goodness, may the kind people here be blessed forever. Especially you Steve!
Driving down from seattle. My car broke down on the 41, engine basically fell apart, and I had it towed here. I never expected to be treated with a kindness that I will remember forever.
I am 19, and in a situation I've never been before, and was having tension with my parents, and felt stranded and alone.
Steve was extremely friendly, and helpful. I burst into tears in his office from all the stress of my situation and he was very comforting. He gave me a number to a car salvaging company, and told me what to say/what to ask, and helped me with the paperwork as well.
Upon leaving, I was ready to pay, and Steve just went above and beyond. Telling me he has a daughter my age who he would never want in this situation, he lowered my price- causing me to burst into tears again, but out of extreme gratitude.
I feel extremely lucky and so extremely grateful for the service and kindness I received here. I will remember it for ever. So grateful that it led me to write my first Yelp review ever LOL.
I wish you all the best fortune and blessings, you really, really deserve it.

I took my car in thinking it was just going to be an oil change, but turns out, there were a lot more things than that that needed attention. What turned into a day of work was 5 days (over the weekend, too). Luis informed me on every step of the way, explaining everything in detail what needed to be done- and why. They sent an email and text breakdown - with photos- what needed urgent attention and what could wait. That piece of the experience is what made it above and beyond other car mechanics. Everything was addressed and the communication between Luis and I was unequivocal. They were just so friendly and helpful from start to finish. I highly recommend anyone in SLO to get their car taken care of here! Forever grateful for the attention to my car!

They are excellent. We were traveling through and our check engine light came on in our Mercedes SUV. They got us in immediately, diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. Steve is great. I definitely would recommend them.
My first time to Rizzolis and couldn't be more pleased! GREAT service, great people! Will definitely take my mini back whenever she needs service. They even took us into downtown SLO so we could have lunch and shop, then picked us back up when my car was ready after service.

Great place for a SMOG check! Was able to snag a same-day appointment, and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. I was even able to use a coupon from their website! All around great experience, great service, and a great price.

These guys are awesome. I mostly interacted with Steve, but there were many others that answered my questions and helped organized over the phone. Everyone is extremely professional, responsive and urgent throughout the process of getting your car fixed. I would say they were very thorough in the evaluations of cars, so you can expect to know a lot about what your car needs and will need down the line. Steve was very nice and explained everything that I had questions about, without ever making me feel like any question had an obvious answer. Overall had a good experience with them and would definitely recommend!

I have a 13-year old RAV4 and Rizzoli's is the place I trust to keep it going another 13 years. They are very professional, thorough plus the shop is beautiful and spotless. People who work there are top-notch!
I had an old car that was falling apart. They did a very thorough and detailed inspection. Due to the fact that I didn't have much car experience before this, I was unaware of the $125 inspection price. I thought he meant $125 as an estimate for the car repair. Super simple misunderstanding but they worked with me to resolve it. Moral of the story, if you want great service, you have to pay for it. They are worth the price. No one has ever given me such a thorough inspection of my car. Be sure to manage your money well so you can take proper care of your car. Rizzoli's will do that for you.
