After my second service here, Combs has earned a long time customer. My old shop was bought by a chain and started to feel more like an oil change place rather than a full service professional shop. Two times at Combs, I have felt like their assessments and recommendations were honest and reasonable. The first time, they informed me that my transmission service should go to the dealer since there was a technical bulletin for my problem, and the manufacturer might offer some reimbursement. The 2nd visit at Combs, they identified a tiny problem and charged a minimal shop rate. It doesn't take too many visits at a business that charges LESS than expected or honestly suggests that you find a service elsewhere to know that they're trustworthy! Give Combs a try, and when you step into the shop, be ready to shout our your best "LET'S GO BLUES!"

Our whole family trusts Comb’s with our cars. They know and service every make and model we have with knowledge of its particular needs. More than once I’ve gone to Scott and his crew asking for new tires only to be told to come back 5,000 miles later. Mine were fine. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Brought truck in with “groaning” is a noise when applying brakes, told that it was my four-wheel-drive, module and head that replaced. The noise is still present when applying brakes.

Combs is hands down the best mechanic I’ve worked with. The team is professional, honest, friendly, and prompt. They communicate clearly, do excellent work, and never try to upsell or surprise you. It’s such a relief knowing my car is in trustworthy hands every time.

Prompt and friendly staff got my vehicle in on time and repaired earlier than anticipated. Very reasonable pricing and great communication through the entire process. Great to have a trustworthy auto facility like this in saint louis.
