I ran over a large bolt and it was stuck in one of my tire and was making a loud thumping noise. They gave me a rude home, fixed it, picked me up, and brought me back to the shop to pick up the car. All done the same day at a great price.

I did think charging $50 to check why horn wasn't working was a little too much. It took less than a minute to press the horn and turn the steering wheel to diagnose the problem but other than that I love these guys

Love Combs tire. Great prices and friendly service. They stand behind the work if there is ever an issue. Been using them for 20+ years on many vehicles. I have always regretted going someplace else to save a few dollars.

Combs has kept us safe on the road for at least twenty-five years. They are knowledgeable, honest about what needs done and stand behind their work. We tried others early on, gradually gravitated to Combs and now don't go anywhere else. Nice people too.

Both Blake and Scott were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I took my Nissan in for a minor repair and was able to make an appointment a week out. Day of, the fix took 45 min and they called with the total cost (no hidden fees at all) before doing anything work. I dropped off and picked up my car in just a few hours. Really pleased with the customer service and repairs and will definitely be returning when I need service again! Also, their marquee signs are hilarious and that right there was enough for me tbh.

Scott Combs and Combs Tire and Auto have worked on at least 7 used cars for us over the past 20 years… they are genuine, honest, very fair priced, and have kept our cars running and in great shape all along they never try to upsell us on things we don’t need, instead, they’ll inform us of what we’re going to need in the near future once the parts/tires get to a certain point. Scott has also been kind enough to research other auto repair stores in other cities for my daughters who have moved around the country, and has even reviewed cost estimates for them, which has saved us a LOT of money from unnecessary repairs. Scott Combs and his crew go WAY above and beyond taking care of us, and as a dad of 4 kids, 2 whom live out west in CA and AZ, I’m so blessed to have such incredible, genuine care from Combs for all of us. I found Combs from NextDoor living in U-City. The drive to Kirkwood may sound like a long drive and I can usually make in 20 minutes, sometmes 15. Really doesn't matter. Combs is best auto shop I have worked with ever. Fair pricing, talented mechanics, if it ain't broken no warnings about "just in case" repairs. Try it yourself. The drive will be nothing that will take you to another shop.

Super appreciative of Cameron helping me out today! He was able to get me in the same day for a battery replacement. The technician that did the work was so fast and it took less than an hour. Combs was the best part of my crazy Monday!

During Stay at Home orders they picked up my car, did all the necessary work and dropped it back off at my home. Completely wiped down to make sure everything was safe. And checked back personally to make sure everything was good! Always personal, helpful, honest and great prices on labor and products! Thanks Combs !

My battery was dead at home, and after being jump-started I was able to drive directly to Combs as a drop-off. They were able to squeeze my car into their schedule for the day. I had a new battery installed in Aug. 2019, so the exact cause of the dead battery was undetermined at this time, but they charged it, and had the car up and running by 4:30. It is a pleasure to do business with all of the folks at Combs. They are honest, trustworthy, and provide excellent service. This is especially important for the ladies bringing in their cars, who might not know what happens under the hood past the key and starter. But that's OK, because the folks at Combs will guide your repairs in the right direction, for a reasonable cost.

Love Combs! We live out of town and send our daughter, who lives in STL, to Combs for all her car needs because we trust them to be honest and do the right thing for her. They go out of their way to work with us in getting her taken care of when she has car problems. What a relief for us to have some place like Combs to rely on!

My cars do not always "do right" by me. but Combs always has. For instance, earlier this week I took my Accord in because of a low tire pressure warning light. I've learned over time that this is sometimes associated with cold weather rather than a tire issue, and I'd done the standard things such as adding air and just driving it to see if the car wanted to rethink the problem. My wife couldn't help me with dropping the car off, or taking me to pick it up again, but Combs took care of both these things, as well as checking for a leak and resetting the warning light. The charge was in the neighborhood of $5.00. The warning light isn't on any more and if there is a leak it is so small and intermittent that it isn't something to deal with now. The little things in life can wear you down, but problems with my autos just can't when you have helpful, understanding, and honest folk to look after them. It was a great day when, years ago, I switched to Combs. I've never regretted doing that, and in fact think it was one of the best things I've done for my cars, and myself.

Was recommended Combs by a friend a few years ago and I've never looked back. I'm not a car guy, so in the past I was always reluctant to take my car in to a shop as I've heard so many stories of people being taken advantage of. Scott and his team are incredible to work with and have shown nothing but integrity and professionalism since I've started taking my car in to their shop. I've had my tires changed, a flat fixed, and a few oil changes and it's nice to know my car is going to come out better than when I brought it in. If you are like me and know almost nothing about cars or you've been burned in the past by other shops, I would highly recommend giving Scott and his team at Combs a chance.

I am not under warranty from Honda anymore so I was looking for someone I could Trust. They have great reviews and have treated me well so far. It does not appear that they try to sell anything unless you need it. Happy with my choice!

Love this place, I moved here from small town South Dakota and was discouraged by the bigger named auto services places in the area, but ended up finding Combs. With their "punny" signs and amazing, small-town-quality service, you cannot go wrong! They are always willing to answer questions, no matter how small and really go out of their way!

Combs has serviced several of our vehicles since we moved to STL in 2000. I find them ALWAYS to be knowledgeable, friendly, fair and they do AWESOME work. I would recommend Combs to anyone looking or extensive work, tires, an oil change or anything else with regards to servicing your cars.

I have been using Combs Auto since I moved to Saint Louis in 2017, mostly for oil changes. I started going to Combs because of the reviews I read on the internet, and I have not been disappointed. I have always felt that they are reliable and honest with me about what they find and what they recommend. Their staff has always been easy to work with and they take the time to explain their recommendations. Combs is not the most convenient Service Center for me, and it should be taken as a compliment that they are good enough to warrant the inconvenience. I would recommend them to anyone.

Needed a simple emissions inspection. My previous mechanic had shut down awhile back and advised my fiance to go here for work and she had a positive experience. Athough I only needed this very minor check, everything about the experience, from the scheduling, the speed of the service, and the interactions with the employees was top notch. Highly recommend them and will gladly return for any future service with confidence.
