I had to bring my elderly (2007) car in because the a/c was on the fritz. Going straight into July weather didn't help. They were kind enough to break the news that the condenser was leaking. Again. They tried to work out something with the manufacturer because it had been replaced just 3 years ago. Apparently 2 years too long. So they put in fresh Freon at no charge, and we're all hoping for the best!
In the past, another car of mine went south on me, just as I was going downtown to work. Made it to Combs, and they actually loaned me one their personal cars for the day, and got mine fixed. Great company!

Combs always does a great job and they’re honest. They don’t try to sell you on service you don’t need. They also know my car and it’s history really well so they’re great advisors about what I can expect in the future

As per usual, the team at Combs Tire is professional and thorough. They on many occasions have not recommended a repair because it was not needed at the time, after I was told it was needed by the dealership, and I say again, this was after the dealership said it was needed, ON SEVERAL occasions. The repairs that have been made have been well done and at a cost below what the dealership would have been. And the most important piece of information I would share, is that I trust them. Without a doubt they are the most honest, hard working and friendly group to work with, and that says a lot in today's world.

Combs doesn't disappoint once again! Although I had to spend more money on an old car I always walk away knowing that they provided an honest diagnosis. I will be back.

Professional in every aspect.
Everytime I call or come in, the Combs staff are so friendly & willing to help. I always get a good deal from them & never feel pressured in to anything.

This has been my go to place for years. They are incredibly personable and do the work that NEEDS to be done. They diagnosed an issue with my exhaust and did the extra mile to advise that I go to the dealership as it may still be covered in the warranty. I trust them more than anyone in the industry and so should you.
I love them. Great tires at a good price. The temperature dropped to a low of around 8 degrees here for several days in a row, which lowers tire pressure. I called, they said no appt was required. When I dropped by they took me right away. Very pleasant, helpful people.
My family and I have been coming here for almost 15 years. We got so happy that we finally found a car place with hardworking friendly folks that have integrity! They never try to sell you what you dont need but if you have questions they are happy to check things out for you so you know you are driving a safe vehicle. The Combs family, and I'm talking about Scott, Patrick and all the other great peeps who work here, are so nice and helpful. They have a fantastic waiting area with free WiFi, great for if you need to plug in and work or watch TV or be in a quieter space undisturbed. I'll never go anywhere else as long as I live in or around St. Louis. Give them a try. You'll be a customer for life. P.S. One of the Combs brothers that doesn't work here is a children's musician and creates the funny sayings they put on their signs all year long. Next time you drive by check it out, it's usually clever and cute and makes you smile!
Scott and the "Family" at Combs will take great care of you...Give them a call. Tires, Brakes have been my 2 main needs and every time, Scott has gotten the problem fixed, right, the first time and I am now to where I let him pick the tires, within my budget. He nails it, every time. Thanks to Dad/Scott. When you put 40-50 K of miles on your vehicle yearly, I feel safe to have a crew like Combs, working on my vehicles. Just got 4 tires at Combs. Nice people, well-maintained and clean waiting areas. Right on time, and the appointment took exactly the time specified for tires, balance, and alignment. When the price seemed a bit high, I looked at my notes from my original call and mentioned a quote somewhat lower that I thought included an alignment. They immediately took my word for the figure I had and adjusted the price to my figure, even though I admitted I was not certain that the quote had included the alignment. Will start by saying we are very difficult customers.. We have a small RV, a very uncommon Subaru, and a ‘77 VW bus. It is so hard for us to find places to work on our vehicles, but Combs never turns us away.This place is AMAZING. They are so incredibly friendly, and truly make you feel welcome. These days it’s so rare to find service like this! They are always quick to fit us in, and they do incredible work no matter the vehicle.They charge fairly and honestly for their work! Highly recommended! We are customers for life! WE LOVE YOU COMBS!
I believe the guys do a good job but unfortunately i have a 4 wheel alignment here and it was still way from aligned.
