Combs is the best!

I simply wouldn't take my car anywhere else, for love or money. Patrick and Joe are always getting me in and out fast, fixing just what needs fixing (for a *very* reasonable price), and Scott Combs and family take my satisfaction with their work *personally*. And they have for close to 30 years now, all the way back to when the elder Bill Combs was the head honcho, a kinder more honest man I have rarely met. Scott seems to favour his father in that way. Do yourself a favour, get to know these folks.

I have been to Combs twice because they were recommended to me by a mechanic friend that I trust. Combs receives five stars from me because of their trustworthiness, accurate/necessary diagnosis, and efficiency to get the job done when they say it will be done. It is obvious why this family business has been in business for over 25 years. From Scott to Patrick to Don and everyone in between have been pleasant to work with. To top it off, they recycled my brake rotors that I replaced and with that money they 'pay it forward' to their employees with lunches and Christmas bonuses. That is how you succeed in the business world! Sacrifice some of your profits to take care of your employees! Top Notch!

Very timely, informative, and price came in under the estimate.

I requested quotes on three tires online, and within minutes of submitting my request I had an incoming phone call wanting to discuss what I was looking for and got a recommendation about tires that might be a better fit that I had not requested a quote on. Minutes after the phone call I received quotes on each of the brands including service costs and tax. Later on I dropped off the car at the store and set up an appointment for the tires to be installed and an alignment to be done and went about my afternoon, thinking I'd have to figure out a ride for the next day. Much to my aurprise, I received a call just a few hours later saying that the tire installation and alignment were complete and the car was ready to go. I was pleasantly surprised! All of the service was handled flawlessly and my car hasn't ridden this smoothly in years. From the conversation about which tires would fit best with my driving habits to the discussion about what would be done to make sure the tires fit best on the wheel, I had a fantastically satisfying experience with all aspects of the service I received. Had a mouse crawl up in my heater and it stunk up my car. Combs found it, cleaned it out and I was good to go!!
