I always go here for oil changes and inspections, my son goes here too, because they are honest and do good work. They don’t tell you your car needs something when it doesn’t. Great people always willing to listen to your automotive issues. Thanks Combs Tire and Auto Service.

In the past I have been "duped" by other car repair places into unnecessary repairs! I am so relieved to have found Combs! They are trustworthy with my cars and honest. They listen to me/ explain what my car needs and then do it at a fair price. They are also very kind and respectful. They do not take my business for granted. I was amazed that Scott would follow up with me after taking my car in. They are a prime example of how to do business and retain customers. Great Job!!

When I booked the appointment I told the guy on the phone that I’d like to get in for a general checkup, including an oil change. However, only booked his oil change guy to look at my truck so I don’t feel like I got the proper full-scale check up that I had hoped for.

After my second service here, Combs has earned a long time customer. My old shop was bought by a chain and started to feel more like an oil change place rather than a full service professional shop. Two times at Combs, I have felt like their assessments and recommendations were honest and reasonable. The first time, they informed me that my transmission service should go to the dealer since there was a technical bulletin for my problem, and the manufacturer might offer some reimbursement. The 2nd visit at Combs, they identified a tiny problem and charged a minimal shop rate. It doesn't take too many visits at a business that charges LESS than expected or honestly suggests that you find a service elsewhere to know that they're trustworthy! Give Combs a try, and when you step into the shop, be ready to shout our your best "LET'S GO BLUES!"

Our whole family trusts Comb’s with our cars. They know and service every make and model we have with knowledge of its particular needs. More than once I’ve gone to Scott and his crew asking for new tires only to be told to come back 5,000 miles later. Mine were fine. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Combs installed new tires and performed a wheel alignment. Their website enabled me to see the price of tires and an out of door price for install which was nice when pricing to get the best deal. They had a shuttle service available if local to Kirkwood. I would use Combs again.

Always the most honest shop. Have told me multiple times when my issue would be best solved by NOT spending more money at their shop. I’ve actually asked if I could pay them more than the minimal charge for looking at the issue and giving me thorough advice. They declined, of course. Should be your first and last stop, unless they can’t address what you need - which they’ll always tell you.

Always honest and fair prices. Had vibration on accel in 1st gear, they got me in the following Tuesday and found bad motor mounts. Covered under warranty through vendor and got me in the following week to get done. They usually book up fast so make a call soon to get yours.
