I'm embarking on an indefinite road trip in a couple of weeks and needed to make sure I had my car in order before setting off. Having never used Combs before (but loving their witty signs out front), I decided to call and get an estimate for new tires, an alignment, rear brake service, and new spark plugs. John was great with explaining the pros/cons of various tires, even recommending a cheaper tire than I'd originally asked for. It was going to be a few days before they could get me in, which I saw as a sign that they must do pretty good business (a plus in my book!). On the day of my scheduled service, John again walked me through the plan for the day. I left my car and a few hours later was called and informed it was ready. Easy, peazy. I would highly recommend Combs Auto Service for their professional and courteous service.

We have been coming to Combs since we moved in the area in 1987. They handle the normal maintenance items (oil change, tires, batteries, etc.) but also handle other more complex issues (electronics, etc.) If they can't, always have good recommendations to go elsewhere. Staff gives you service even it means (at times) needing something on a tight schedule. Only problem is parking; that indicates they are a preferred service provider in the area.

First time-- disappointed. Told I could drive my car--- and apparently that's not the case at all. Engine could shut down at ant time.

I had to bring my car in very unexpectedly! They were so great at diagnosing the problem right away and letting me know how and when they would be able to fix it. They even gave me a ride to where I needed to be that night. They updated me early the next day with repair estimates and then again when my car was fixed. Everyone at combs is so helpful and friendly, I recommend them every chance I get!

I had a flat tire, I had AAA change to my spare and I took the tire to Combs, within a couple hours (I dropped off tire) I went back and had a fixed installed tire!! Guys are always polite and nice and always treat me with respect.

As always, I was quite pleased. The mechanic completed an oil change and state inspections, and I was out within the hour. The folks at Combs are always friendly and helpful and I appreciate their service.

Friendly and fast service. My car was completed in less than 2 hours. I originally went in with certain tires in mind. The sales staff showed me a tire that was higher rated, more mileage and less expensive! Thanks.

They always make me confident and assured when I have work done there. They CARE and have my best interest at heart. They will not do work on your car that is NOT needed. I have recommended their shop to others in my family and other friends.

had them look for a front end problem/noise. could not find. I thought lower control arm was shot but it was ok. will buy tires in the near future from them.
