Great place for an honest assessment and the work done has always been top notch!! Friendly atmosphere too!

I always get great service and enjoy the friendly atmosphere at Combs Tire. They are trustworthy and a well run family business. You may come in as a stranger but you will leave a friend.

I took this van to a Ford dealer for a dealer only repair and they informed me all of the brakes needed to be replaced. $1400. I declined the repair at Ford with the service writer pressuring me because the brakes were "dangerous". Combs looked it over and did replace the front but said the back brakes were in very good condition. $500. I own 5 vehicles - Combs performs all of the maintenance on them. Examples like this are why.

Outstanding service and friendly staff

As usual, the work was completed as promised after a quick diagnosis of an intermittent electrical problem. Patrick explained everything perfectly and was reliable just as we've known him to be.

A bit less wonderful than usual. I know I was a fit in on a very busy day, but had I not sent the kids up to pick up the car, assuming that I had just not gotten the phone call, I don't think I'd have gotten the car back that day at all, with no indication or notice that I would not have gotten it back. Erica said Patrick had to call a tech back to install the battery--took ten minutes. Why would that have not been done before the day was over? On a larger note, I had asked Patrick to check and see if there were further indicators as to why my cigaretter lighter (phone charger) wasn't working, thinking there was some electrical problem that could be draining the battery/electrical system. Imagine my disappointment when driving to Colorado I find out my cigaratte lighter still doesn't work, with no indication being given that anything was checked beyond a battery check-up. I don't even know if the fuses were checked, which was one of my specific suggestions. Again, I know I was there at a busy time, but I really feel like I got brushed aside after indications were given that I could be fit in and everything would be taken care of, knowing it was my intention to leave early the next day to drive to Denver. Bummed. My star rating is based on 20 years of service. This day--not so much.

I was appalled that you charged $14.95 to put in a rear tail light bulb. When I purchase at Auto Zone, they install for free and it takes less than 5 minutes. Also, when did you stop offering same price as Jiffy Lube for an oil change. Derek is nice, however he shouldn't think its funny when I question the price? I know he is young and trying to help, but I was shocked an surprised with what I had to pay. I'm on a fixed income and every dollar is important. You shouldn't tell the customer you are lucky today with only having to pay $59.95.

Derek was kind enough to make fresh coffee but the Bon Bon assortment was rather sparse. That was a bit disappointing. Ricky is the hardest working man in the tire business! Ha! Jump back and kiss myself! James brown! These guys are the best!
