Everything went well! Took less than an hour for the new tire and alignment, and I got confirmation that a few scheduled services I suspected were coming due will be needing attention soon.

A few of the people I work with have used Comb's for years so when I needed new tires and called a couple other places Comb's pricing was reasonable and had a good experience over the phone with getting the tires I needed and the ease of getting my appt set up. My experience there with dropping my car off in the morning I felt was mediocre....no one greeted me or asked to help me right away even with 4 or 5 people standing around when I walked in. The actual service of my vehicle was fine however when I picked my car up I was handed my keys and told where the car was parked which was around the side of the building......i got to my car and it was blocked in between two other vehicles. Of course I went back in and they accompanied me back out to see what the issue was and ended up moving the car in front of me but I have to say I feel it is common courtesy of any service that they bring your vehicle up for you! Especially if it's not parked right outside the door.

My husband and I were driving back to TX after visiting family up north over the holidays. Right outside of MO, our trailer tire blew out. We put on a spare and realized the last spare we had was bad. We were already frustrated because my husband is military and needed to be back on base that night and we were running behind schedule due to the blow out. Luckily, we stumbled upon Combs and they were able to not only fix the spare tire, but give us another spare tire for a VERY great price! They were also kind enough to fix the tire before store hours since they had arrived early that day. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. I actually made this account just so I could leave a review! They provided great customer service, and I only wish their facility was based out of Texas so I could visit them again. In life you need a faithful wife, a good bartender, maybe a bail bondsman, and definitely an honest mechanic. The team at Combs are professional, honest, dependable, and knowledgeable. I have been visiting Combs for nearly 2 years. Everyone there is very professional and nice to work with. I would refer family and friends to Combs anytime they need auto repair.

Until taking my car to Combs, I always felt like I was being taken advantage of when getting service done on my car. I would take my car in for an oil change at other places and would end up "needing" lots of expensive work done. I don't get that from Combs. They are honest and do good work when it is needed. I will continue to bring my cars there for as long as I'm in Saint Louis.

These guys understand customer service. No pressure, and they educate you about what is wrong. I bought 2 tires, and got an alignment. They brought out the diagnostic report and explained it to me. Skip the chain stores, and spend your money where it's appreciated.

Another pleasant experience with Scott and boys at Combs Tire and Auto in Kirkwood. Excellent prices, service and honesty. I have bought 4 or 5 sets of tires and every visit has been a great one. This time it was for my moms ML350 and we put some Yokohamas on and Scott had the best price in St Louis, service with a smile. Thanks for the quick install. Worth the visit to see all the St Louis sports memorabilia in the waiting area. Keep up the great work! BB

So the two hardest things (IMHO) to find when moving to a new city are 1) a good dentist and 2) a good mechanic. The V family needed multiple inspections on our vehicles to register them in Missouri (thanks to the highly competent government workers at the license office and well thought-our state laws). Went to Combs based on Yelp and neighbors' comments. So in full transparency I haven't had Combs do any actual repair/maintenance on the cars, but here's what I've experienced: -The staff is super friendly with that Midwestern frankness I appreciate -The worked in both our vehicles even though they only had an appointment slot for one -The owner!! overheard me mention the dentist and mechanic comment to the front desk and knocked on our window as we were leaving the parking lot to give us a printout of his own personal dentist... unexpected but appreciated! So I plan on becoming a Combs convert. If today's experience was anything like their typical service then I recommend the to anyone!

I love the people at Combs! They provide great customer service in a day and age when that is hard to come by. I especially appreciate that they'll help me prioritize and timeline the maintenance and service that my vehicle needs in an honest and transparent way. Very glad I started bringing my car to Combs.

I'm embarrassed that it's taken me this long to come to Combs! I live just around the corner, and yesterday my car died, so this being the closest shop to me, I left it overnight to be looked at in the morning. Everyone I spoke to this morning was incredibly friendly, genuine, and efficient in getting me a quote faster than anticipated! The cost was nearly half what I expected it to be, and it was ready by the time I got off work. When I picked it up, everyone was welcoming and kind, and were fun to be around (talking about their hilarious signs, and appropriately teasing me about having lived nearby for 3 years before coming there!). Do yourself a favor: avoid the headaches of trying to find a good shop, and come straight here. It'll be worth every minute! Thanks guys!

Sometimes shit happens. And when shit happens that involves your vehicle, you need to take it to Combs. Not only do they know what they are doing and service nearly every type of vehicle that exists (but call to make sure), they have designed a carefully crafted customer service experience. Watch out, Four Seasons! The Combs Tire & Auto Service waiting area is one of the most relaxing places to be if you have to get work done on your vehicle. With a huge aquarium, free WiFi, a work area with desks and outlets and a separate quiet room with a TV, you'll be glad you chose Combs to take care of you. My family has been going here for years....decades, even? We will never go anywhere else. Thank you, Combs, for being the epitome of customer service and what it means to be treated with respect.

I've been going to Combs with my cars for almost 15 years! I wouldn't ever trust anyone else with the care of my vehicles. They are fair in pricing and never try to up sell you with unexpected charges like many other places do. Their work is great! They also have a great guarantee on their tires. Check them out! You won't be disappointed.

We are driving cross country and a cable broke. After Dobbs Automotive refused to even look at it for us because they were too busy, these guys immediately pulled it in, fixed it, and didn't even charge us for it!! Excellent customer service!! Highly recommend!

Nothing bad to say about Combs. After price shopping for tires throughout the Kirkwood/Webster area, I got the best price from Combs. They were easy to talk you, quick to set up an appointment, and very friendly. Their waiting room offers free WIFI and work stations with chargers! Perfect for those people needing to wait longer for car services. I'll be using them again soon!

Battery was on the verge of dying and I was in the area and found this place on google. Gave them a call and they instantly were able to take my car in, replace the battery with a nicer / higher quality one and did not charge that much. Their pricing is definitely fair; they are friendly, professional, and quick. Definitely one of the best auto services I've been to, I might switch to this place in the future for my car problems because of their friendliness and fair pricing.

Extremely impressed with the people and service at Combs. They got my car in for a flat tire on basically no-notice on a very busy day (day after New Year's). Quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me options. Scott was very informative. I most appreciated that he suggested I contact another tire shop with whom I previously had an account to see if the tire was cheaper (I almost couldn't believe he was that direct about it). Turns it out was a bit cheaper than the location from which Combs would order the tire. I still almost had Combs perform the replacement just because of the helpfulness and upfront approach, but the difference was a little too much to stomach (Scott agreed). When I called back to explain the situation to Scott, he was totally understanding (I actually felt bad), assisted with my arrangement with AAA to have the car towed to the other shop, and was ready for my payment (to tow the car to their shop) over the phone before I had my card out, even though he took my phone call immediately after finishing up with another customer. The prompt, fair, honest and courteous service at Combs will have me back anytime we need service or maintenance on our two vehicles. Edit: I was so impressed with the service, that it prompted me to login to Yelp and leave my first review.

This was a very good first time experience. Needed an oil change after a long road trip. Ran in to a small glitch trying to schedule an appointment online through the business' web site, but was able to work it out with Scott over the phone. Prices were fair and completed as agreed when setting the appointment.

This is a great auto repair shop! They were honest and professional. I brought my car here after a dealer diagnosed the A/C needing a $1,000 fix. Combs did it for $485 and it works great. And they did it in one day which was faster than their estimate. I'll be back again when I need repairs.

Love these guys- family run mechanics that provide a huge value for your money. If it doesn't need replacing, they will never pretend that it does. Waiting room is a hockey fan's dream come true, and they are never less than incredibly friendly. I tell everybody I talk to to skip the dealer and take their car to Scotty Combs.
