This has been my go to place for years. They are incredibly personable and do the work that NEEDS to be done. They diagnosed an issue with my exhaust and did the extra mile to advise that I go to the dealership as it may still be covered in the warranty. I trust them more than anyone in the industry and so should you.

Combs Auto Service is indeed stellar! I had some slippage of the automatic transmission in my 2015 Honda Odyssey. I feared that I was in for an expensive transmission repair at a Honda dealer, but decided to have Combs check it first, as I have trusted them with my auto service for years. They explained that they are not a transmission repair shop, but I knew that they could probably diagnose the problem and advise me as to my best options, as they have done in the past with my other automobiles. They test drove the van, did their research and explained the likely cause of the problem. They were able to perform the necessary service and resolved my problem, saving me time and quite a bit of money. I really appreciate their fine service. Combs operates like a family owned shop of the past, which is rare these days. A 5-star shop!

Comb’s Tire and Auto is the best of the best! The entire staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and the prices are always fair. Easy to schedule service and have options to drop off or wait which is nice. Highly recommend taking your vehicle needs to Scott and his team at Comb’s.

Unbelievably honest and trustworthy. If you are told that something or another needs to be taken care of, you can be assured of their integrity and confident you are not being told a story.... Just today, I noticed something not quite right with my car, they were able to take care of it right away come even though it was very close to closing time. I'll always bring my car to Combs, period.

Combs installed new tires and performed a wheel alignment. Their website enabled me to see the price of tires and an out of door price for install which was nice when pricing to get the best deal. They had a shuttle service available if local to Kirkwood. I would use Combs again.

I ran over a large bolt and it was stuck in one of my tire and was making a loud thumping noise. They gave me a rude home, fixed it, picked me up, and brought me back to the shop to pick up the car. All done the same day at a great price.

I did think charging $50 to check why horn wasn't working was a little too much. It took less than a minute to press the horn and turn the steering wheel to diagnose the problem but other than that I love these guys

Love Combs tire. Great prices and friendly service. They stand behind the work if there is ever an issue. Been using them for 20+ years on many vehicles. I have always regretted going someplace else to save a few dollars.

Both Blake and Scott were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I took my Nissan in for a minor repair and was able to make an appointment a week out. Day of, the fix took 45 min and they called with the total cost (no hidden fees at all) before doing anything work. I dropped off and picked up my car in just a few hours. Really pleased with the customer service and repairs and will definitely be returning when I need service again! Also, their marquee signs are hilarious and that right there was enough for me tbh.

I found Combs from NextDoor living in U-City. The drive to Kirkwood may sound like a long drive and I can usually make in 20 minutes, sometmes 15. Really doesn't matter. Combs is best auto shop I have worked with ever. Fair pricing, talented mechanics, if it ain't broken no warnings about "just in case" repairs. Try it yourself. The drive will be nothing that will take you to another shop.

Super appreciative of Cameron helping me out today! He was able to get me in the same day for a battery replacement. The technician that did the work was so fast and it took less than an hour. Combs was the best part of my crazy Monday!

Unbelievable, my water pump on my car went out. I was 280 mi from home, weather was getting bad, I had to rent a car to get home. They called me that day and had my car ready that day. Done a wonderful job and at the low end of what Google said that cost would be. They were very very good to their word and also good to work with!

Had a dead battery over Christmas. I was going to get a jump then buy/ install one from auto parts store. Decided instead to call Coombs to see if they could fit me in. They said they would try. Within a hour of arriving they had new battery installed and checked that alternator working properly. Patrick informed me of the type of battery he recommended and why (American made and 4 year warranty). Money well spent since the old battery only had 18 month warranty.
