I always get what I need done to my car at the fairest price. I'm a big fan of family owned business especially when the owner treats their staff with respect. Their driver confirmed the owner is a great guy and boss. Happy and taken care of workers equals happy and taken care of customers. Everyone is so helpful. They give an honest evaluation of any work that needs to be done. They are friendly and follow through on the job. We even get reminders when our cars need service.

Always the most honest shop. Have told me multiple times when my issue would be best solved by NOT spending more money at their shop. I’ve actually asked if I could pay them more than the minimal charge for looking at the issue and giving me thorough advice. They declined, of course. Should be your first and last stop, unless they can’t address what you need - which they’ll always tell you.

Always honest and fair prices. Had vibration on accel in 1st gear, they got me in the following Tuesday and found bad motor mounts. Covered under warranty through vendor and got me in the following week to get done. They usually book up fast so make a call soon to get yours.

My best compliment for Combs Automotive is to say that personally I am always so comfortable with their knowledge, expertise, reliability, and attention to detail. Without question, I am always reassured when handed my keys, I know the repair and service is the best ever provided and the only staff of mechanics I trust with all my cars. My comfort level always exceeds my expectations. simply because the Combs Automotive staff and mechanics always do such a thorough and professional job, every single time, without question.

Scott and his team are consistently thorough in their repairs. They offer options for repair and great suggestions. Although tires are their specialty, the repair side holds its own.

I ended up with a flat tire while at work. I called Combs and was able to drop off my tire and pick it up the same morning. Very efficient work and explained to me what the issue with my tire was. Every employee I encountered there was very nice as well.

Just purchased tires and had brakes replaced. Very pleased. Scott's tire recommendation could not have been better. Great service. Highly recommend Combs! As always, Combs provided great service. Scott and crew are the best at what they do. I travel from Ballwin to get to Combs even though there are places close by. Fantastic service! My son needed new tires before heading back to school. Scott got us in right away. Made payment over the phone and picked car up after hours. Very convenient. I'm going back to get tires on my car. Highly recommend Combs Service to all. This is my second review this year. First was April, now August. Combs is absolutely the best place to go for tires and needed services. They do a fantastic job and are very friendly. I've had them put tires on 5 cars now. No complaints or worries. Just go, you will not regret it.

Combs I would recommend to anyone. My 2001 Toyota Sienna is like brand new. I am very happy with the services and repaired. I have to say, it’s not everyday I run into an honest company. As of now they are maintaining both of my vehicles, thank you Combs.

Our car had an issue on I44 & Big Bend. Red light appeared car overheating etc. Took car to them Steve was backed up because of weather. Had to rent car non avilable he called around and got us one .Steve had emplyee take us. Found out that we needed a thomastat they replaced and on futher reveiw the last place that did an oil change didnt have the oil filter on correctly. It was leaking . I take all of my vehicles here for service work. The guys are awesome and really take the time to know you. They also make sure you understand what is going on with your car and offer solutions to repair it. They do not repair anything that is not needed and ask about things they find.

If you're lucky, you find a mechanic who will tell you not only what you need to fix, but what you don't. That's Coombs. I trust them with my car and I trust them with cars for my kids and my wife. I can't give them any higher compliment than that.

If you need diagnostics or repair, GO HERE. The most honest and reliable shop, possibly business in general, I've ever dealt with. These guys are GOOD at their work! They are also priced extremely well. If you find someone cheaper for the same work, be skeptical about the quality you'll get. Only problem about Combs is they're so good, once anyone experiences what an honest and reliable shop they are, they never go anywhere else, and that means they're busy. You need to get an appointment, but they are worth the wait. They are also AWESOME about understanding when issues are more of an emergency and will often try extremely hard to work you in for those. Have been using Combs for around 10 years or more. The guys are incredibly friendly. I've never, ever seen them do the, "She's just a woman, have her get her husband to talk to us," type b.s. so many shops do. My wife is always comfortable talking to them and they absolutely treat her the same as anyone else. They do get when you don't know a lot about cars though, and they'll explain what's going on in an understandable way without any condescension or the awfulness that so many shops do. They'll also tell you when something isn't the type of repair they're the best at, and will give good recommendations for alternatives. If Combs is reluctant to do something, believe them and go to who they tell you is the appropriate expert, because these guys are phenomenal at most everything. I honestly could gush on about this shop for much longer, but my best proof of how much I trust them is the fact that this is where I'll send my daughters (sons if I had any) and any family or friends for any of their car needs.

I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have stumbled upon Combs Auto when I did. While on a cross country trip from SC to MT my truck started making noise the second morning after staying in Kirkwood. I happened to see Combs next to my hotel and they really saved my whole trip. Patrick and the team were so sympathetic to my situation, they diagnosed the problem right away, got parts in, and fixed the issue in a matter of a few hours! The fast action and response to help was incredible and they did not take advantage of the pickle I was in and raise the price! These guys have so much integrity, if I lived anywhere in the area I would go to them for everything vehicle related. Amazing business!

I went to them once while living in Kirkwood and went back even though I had moved and it has been out of my way! Easy to schedule with, they’re very friendly, and can’t beat the prices. They needed to order a new part for me that would take time some time to get shipped but they have been so generous in making sure I get penciled in when it arrives so I don’t have to be bogged down by oncoming appointments.

Although Combs Automotive has performed extensive service on all 3 autos that I own. This particular visit was for an Emission exam which was provided quickly and sent to the State for acceptance. When I got to my office it was already accepted by Mo. Many thanks Scott, John and Patrick and the crew! As always, you'all are the very best!! James.

I've been with Combs auto for about 5 years now. I am extremely impressed with the excellent service and professionalism of the team. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and kept me informed throughout the service, explaining everything in detail and offering helpful advice. The work was completed promptly and to a high standard. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail and the extra care taken to ensure my car was running smoothly and safely. The team clearly takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about their customers' satisfaction. 5 stars and well done, Combs Auto!

Incredibly honest and kind people. I drive a Honda Accord and had my AC condenser break, I took into for them to fix and while it was in the shop they realized the part was on recall for frequent breakage and I could get it fixed for free at Honda. They called me and told me all of this saving me about $1000 or so. Mind you this is after I have taken it to another place to get looked at who wanted to fix it on the spot and never told me it was on recall. Incredibly honest and good people work here and I can't recommend it enough.

This crew is the greatest! You might wish they were open on weekends, BUT when you realize their business model includes paying their mechanics a fair rate (not on commission) and giving their staff a proper weekend allows them to be the most honest, hardworking team you'll ever meet...you'll see how its SO worth it to schedule your vehicles work with Combs.
