They do good thorough work and complete it as promised. Labor rates are reasonable. No attempt to upsell you to unnecessary work. Honest and reliable.

Friendly and professional and excellent work! Came in with a slight pull and a crooked steering wheel. Now the wheel is perfect and drives straight!!

I highly recommend Dennis and his crew to competently do the work necessary to keep our faithful silver Pilot 4x4 on the road. We do extensive off roading, and rely on the work by Griffin Motors and Dennis to do the work and keep us safe. Not the cheapest, but very high quality work.

Dennis and his team are absolute professionals and provide high-quality all-around service that consistently goes above and beyond. He provides a full checkup every time I come in for routine maintenance and effectively communicates what my car may need now and what I should look out for/expect in the long-term so that my car continues to stay healthy and so that I can safely enjoy my adventures on the road. Always answers my many questions clearly and thoroughly. I highly recommend this shop for any service or repair!

Took my car to Dennis for some advice and repair. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the most critical items. I'll go back for the rest of the job -- less critical items -- later in the summer. I'd highly recommend.

I highly recommend coming to Griffin's Auto Repair for your auto repair needs! I moved from Ohio about two years ago and it was very important for me to find a reliable and honest mechanic.My neighbor recommended me Griffin's and I couldn't be happier with the services I've received. They really go the extra mile to figure out any issues with your car, communicate what is going on that makes it easy to understand for someone (like me) who does not speak fluent in auto mechanics, and is very fair in the pricing for parts and labor. Exceptional customer service too!

Dennis is great! My car quit starting at work and my coworker recommended Dennis since he is 4 minutes down the road from us. I had my car towed there on Thrusday and despite him being closed and packed the next week with appointments he had my car done Monday! His prices are fair and he is very personable and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back and I will tell others to go to his shop!

I appreciated getting a quote for front brake repairs the day I asked and being able to take the car in a few days later. Everything was on schedule, and professional - and overall the actual bill was slightly less than the quote which was a pleasant surprise!

I've been taking my car to Griffins for 3 years and Dennis has never tried to upsell me or have me pay more than I need to. Sure enough that was my experience again. If you don't know much about cars yet want to feel like you're really being taken care of, take your car to Griffins!

Dennis did a great job of tracking down an illusive electrical short. Superior customer service with complete explanation of the problem and what was done it fix the problem. I highly recommend Dennis.

Dennis has been performing maintenance on my 2006 Prius for 3 years. He is very reasonably priced and only does service that is needed. I have had NO problems with my car and I have 115,000 miles on my Prius. He is very knowledgable and honest. I would recommend griffins to anyone needing car maintenance or major repairs. Just visited Dennis at Griffins with my new 2013 Ford Cmax.. He always makes time for me to bring my car in for maintenance quickly. He never over sells maintains my vehicle with just the service needed. Love to Griffins Auto

Dennis is so good about checking every detail involved with car maintenance. For over 20 years he has been my go to guy.

My 2001 Honda is starting to wear out in a few crucial places. Dennis Griffin is thorough, does exceptional work, and manages to fit you into his busy schedule quickly. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've known Dennis Griffin of Griffin's Auto Repair for probably 15 years. In his past, he trained auto mechanics, so he knows all of the ins and outs and has many connections in the industry.
I am very pleased with his work. He always answers all of my questions and gives me his honest opinion. He has talked me through the awful situation when my car died while I was sitting in traffic, and he even shopped for a replacement for me when I was thinking about trading in my car.
He works on all kinds of cars: domestic, foreign, and hybrid. You won't be disappointed.

I'm new to the bay area and have a new job which takes me from SJ to Palo Alto. I freaked when my car stalled on Central Expsy last week and relied on my smartphone to find the nearest auto service shop. Thankfully, I found Griffin's Auto Repair. Dennis not only looked at my car first thing, but he drove me to and from my workplace. Small town-style care combined with Dennis' years of experience in automotive repair sets Griffin's apart.

Dennis is amazing! I've taken my Camry to him twice and every time he always makes sure that I understand what needs to be done and why. This is the ONLY place that has never tried to up sell me either. Most places take advantage of young women because most of us don't know about cars, but not Dennis at Griffin's! The last time I took my car to him he told me I did not need new drums which Goodyear said I did. That saved me at least $60, not chump change to a college student. Needless to say I will continue to bring my car to Griffin's as long as I live in the area. Dennis treats all of his clients like family.
