Took my car in because my check engine/malfunction light was on and the next appt at the dealership was 2 weeks out. Dennis did some quick diagnostics and found some issues with the engine. Unfortunately turns out I need a new one, and luckily im still under warranty, but I was quite happy with the prompt service and clear explanations on what was wrong. Took it around noon without an appt and had an answer before the end of the day. Asante!
It was super easy to reach out to Griffin's. Big shout out to Dennis who knew exactly what I was looking to get serviced and took the time to explain the process in layman terms to ensure I understood exactly what was happening underneath my hood and behind each tire. Everything from start to finish took just a few hours so the job was done fast and efficiently. Highly recommend!
Dennis provided more than I could have asked for. Due to the age of my car, I wanted minimal work done to get it functioning. Dennis was able to provide that at a very reasonable price point. The work was also amazingly quick. I got my car back with a new radiator the same day. Highly recommended.
Dennis was like an angel sent to me when my car all of sudden broke down in mtv. I pulled it over to an auto shop next to Griffin’s and was told that they couldn’t handle it. Although it was already an hour after griffin’s closing hour, I still walked in for help. Dennis immediately checked my car, spotted the problem instantly, and told me that he can have it fixed by noon the next day. I had to pick up my car after the closing hour again the next day and Dennis arranged the whole process smoothly without a single complaint. I wish I were local so I could totally rely on Dennis for any car related issues. I highly recommend this place for Dennis’ s undoubtedly high expertise in auto repair, his patience and friendliness to customers, and his compassion to people who really need help.
Professional, trustworthy mechanics in the conveniently located spot. I needed new breaks for my SUV. Called, got an estimate, set a date, brought the car in - all done in a couple of hours while I had lunch and worked at the next door Bajis cafe (people, hospitality, and buckwheat pancakes are top notch!)Dennis, the new owner, made sure I had all questions answered. I highly recommend coming to Griffin's Auto Repair for your auto repair needs! I moved from Ohio about two years ago and it was very important for me to find a reliable and honest mechanic.My neighbor recommended me Griffin's and I couldn't be happier with the services I've received. They really go the extra mile to figure out any issues with your car, communicate what is going on that makes it easy to understand for someone (like me) who does not speak fluent in auto mechanics, and is very fair in the pricing for parts and labor. Exceptional customer service too!
I came to Griffin's Auto Repair and talked with Dennis about installing a lift kit on my truck, and getting some new rims and tires. Dennis allowed me to pick out exactly which rims I wanted, what tires and the size I wanted, and let me select the size of the lift kit. He then purchased everything for me and installed everything personally. I thought Four Wheel Parts was the only spot in the bay area you could go to get your truck or SUV lifted, but that simply isn't the case. Dennis and Griffin's Auto Repair did some amazing work and my truck looks awesome. I will definitely come back to Griffin's Auto Repair to get running boards installed in the near future. Amazing ownership and customer care as well! I couldn't recommend them more!
I brought my truck to Griffin's Auto Repair and I couldn't be happier with the results. I spoke to Dennis about installing a leveling kit, new tires, rims and running boards on my 2016 Ram 1500. Dennis provided valuable insight on various brands and options for the products I was looking for. After picking out each of the products I wanted, Dennis ordered them and installed them all in a timely manner. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the ability to communicate directly with Dennis and my truck now looking amazing. Thank you again.
The repairs done to my car provided a serious performance change. The turbo is kicking in sooner, and it's accelerating much quicker from a stop, and at freeway speeds. A lot more power. So overall my car is driving like new! Plus the customer service was top notch! Dennis, my mechanic, was very knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. He kept me informed, and delivered results and completed my repairs quickly. I have definitely found a trusted shop for my car and will be using them for all my future automotive repair needs. I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone, who wants trusted prices, and top notch service.

I heard a funny tinney sound and called Dennis. He had me stop by to see what was going on. My brakes were going out on me. He wisely had me leave my car, called a rental car company for me, and squeezed in the repair the next day. I always trust Dennis to be astute, efficient, and fair. Plus I stay safe in my car. What a comforting feeling.

Markns said he brought a vehicle he was interested in purchasing to this business to have them check it out. He stated they were very thorough when they inspected the vehicle, and Markns ended up purchasing it.

I took my '96 Dodge pickup to Dennis last week for a radiator replacement. He diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part and had the truck ready to pick up the next day. The price was reasonable and the work, as always, was quality. Dennis is professional and courteous, and doesn't insult me with the slick BS I used to get from his competitor located a few blocks away....you know, the guy that says "when you want it done right....blah, blah, blah now give me a fat check". I appreciate an auto repair shop whose primary mission isn't to pick my pocket. Give Griffins a try, you won't be dissapointed.

I got a pair of LED headlights and want to upgrade my car. I tried to do it myself but totally screwed. Fortunately, Dennis is great at doing his work. I just dropped by and he promised to get it done in the same day. Thanks to him, pretty easy to talk, I would like to look for him again in the future.
