I've been a happy customer at Griffin's for years. Recently he's added some new mechanics to help with the work. The work continues to be top-notch, but for setting up appointments and getting estimates it's best to talk to the owner.
This is the best most honest place for your car repair. Dennis is super nice and takes awesome care of his customers. He even put my car first because I didn't have any other way to get around.
Griffins auto repair has maintained my 2004 150 extened cab truck since i bought it. I will never take my truck to another auto shop. Best customer servic in bay area, honest and totally dependable always.

This is the best most honest place for your car repair. Dennis is super nice and takes awesome care of his customers. He even put my car first because I didn't have any other way to get around.

Griffinʻs Auto repair provides excellent service. They explained in detail exactly what needed to be done and why. Friendly, efficient, and very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Griffin is the best - honest, fairly priced and convenient. We’ve been going to him for years and wouldn’t trust anyone else!
He charged me over 350$ for diagnosis, claimed to repair the car, but when I got it back there had been absolutely no difference, although he claimed he had fixed it. 750$ down the drain. I took it to another mechanic, and within ~10 mins …More

I received the most thorough and understandable explanation of the needed repair that I have ever received. The vehicle was ready on time and within the estimate provided. I am very satisfied with the knowledge and qualifications of the mechanics. I would heartily recommend Griffin's Auto Repair to my friends and family.

Griffin's is an incredible and honest auto shop. I came in with a multitude of issues and Dennis was open and upfront about the needs, requirements, and expectations. He and team finished all work (which turned out to be quite a bit) in a single day, which surpassed even my expectations. He was open and honest the entire way, upfront with pricing, and made me feel like I was his only customer, even though it was clear there were plenty of folks there to see him. Wonderful shop and will definitely be coming back.

Dennis in the process of my mechanical issues managed to see that from my fuel delivery system from the tank to the engine portals for delivery of having the Northstar 32 valve engine run Smoothly and Reliable. Dennis has given me back the drive of my car as it was 10 Years Ago. Thank you for your professional approach!

I took it to another mechanic, and within ~10 mins he traced the problem to a loose connection, and fixed the problem. Not sure how he has stayed in business this long. If you know the problem, or have to do something simple like change oil or fluids, he might be your guy (but probably still charges too much). If there is anything that actually requires knowledge of cars, I would recommend to go elsewhere
Very displeased with their work. The guy that runs this place is completely untrustworthy, and I am never taking my car there again.He charged me over 320$ for a part that I later called the dealership he claims to have bought it from, to find out it costs under 100$. Additionally, he assured me he had fixed a hose leak, but the light came on the day after for the exact same problem. When bringing the car back in, he refused to even look at it.The man claims he knows what he's doing, but from my experience he is untrustworthy and cannot get the job done. Highly recommend that you take your car someplace else to get it fixed.

Had a regular service, was done on time and at a reasonable cost.
Prompt & courteous service from a mechanic with over 50 years of experience. I've brought in both old and new cars. I've never been disappointed.

Went to Griffins when i had a day off, needed someting done right away, that day, though
a short item others -- including my usual shop said...no... ! I dashed to Griffins after calling them -- they immediately checked my problem...diagnosed need and then proceeded to repair
it quickly....while i waited at the nearby restaurant! just a few feet away, i had barely finished
my quick breakfast when they called to say its ready!!!! and not only that it was inexpensive!!!!!! They will indeed be my new "go-to" repair shop...they handle all sorts and sizes and years of vehicles....

Griffin's Auto has the benefit of extensive experience from being open for so many years. They always have the best service available and have prompt, curteous service.
I recommend them without hesitation for all service needs.
